The house sleeps 6 to 8 people, 2 Bedrooms. 1 Bathroom (Upstairs). Common area (downstairs) Sleeps 1-2 people, 1/2 bath downstairs. There is a 2-night minimum stay. This beautiful house is located on Galveston Bay, just a quick trip to Johnson Space Center (a must see). Clear Lake City, the Kemah Boardwalk and Galveston Beach. Google "Tourist Checklist" for a list of attractions in Clear Lake, TX and Galveston, TX because there are too many to list here! Clear Lake, TX, offers a wide range of activities and attractions. So, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re interested in shopping, dining, golf, go-cart racing, exploring nature, or engaging in water sports, Clear Lake provides numerous opportunities for fun and relaxation. The house is built on 15-foot pillars giving you a clear view of Galveston Bay. Watch the cruise ships and the cigarette boats race by from an 8 ft. X 30ft. covered balcony with comfortable chairs and sofas so you can relax and enjoy the morning sunrise or an evening sunset. Children of all ages are welcome, and you can bring your pets. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, (cookware, plates, glasses, silverware etc.) Don't feel like cooking? Then enjoy fresh seafood at Pier-6, Top Water Grill, Pacific Seafood, La Brisa and many other restaurants in the area. We provide all the linens (sheets, towels, etc.) for your stay. The house also has full size washer and dryer. Celling fans and wireless TVs in all rooms. There is a Charcoal Grill for BBQ or fresh catch of the day. It has two covered driveways. One for your car. The other for your boat. Bayshore Park and boat ramp are only a few minutes away. There is small oyster shell beach at a 3-minute walk that you can enjoy while there.
The Space:
Upstairs Area: Open space (1,050 ft.) with kitchen, breakfast bar, dining room, family room, a comfortable sofa/folding bed, a comfortable recliner chair, TV, internet and a full bathroom.
Master Suite: A light and a bright room with a relaxing atmosphere. Imagine waking up in the morning, stepping out on the balcony, and sipping your first cup of coffee.
Second bedroom: Clean and contemporary Two Twin size adult trundle beds (search twin size trundle bed if not known), night table, a dresser and TV.
Common area/Downstairs Area: A large Recreational Room with a Futon sofa bed, wireless TV, small refrigerator, one small table with 4 chairs for dining or breakfast in the morning, a full bathroom, air conditioning and internet.
Fenced yard standing 6 feet high around the entire property with Security Lighting. Parks 3-4 cars or a boat easily.

I love this place. It was clean. I have everything you needed. I felt safe. Had a great view. Great communication with the owner. The host was fantastic. Answered every question quickly and accurately spacious will definitely stay here again.
The property is completely pet friendly to cats and dogs. The view is beautiful. You can watch an uninterrupted view of sunrise and moonrise on the bay every day.
The property was clean and exactly as described. We were stayed for friend's reunion, and all of us enjoyed the stay! Kids loved their bunk bed and board games. Thank you to the host for the all the effort he put into making our stay enjoyable.
We had a wonderful weekend! The property was exactly as described and in a non-touristy area. We enjoyed dining at the local restaurants. Very friendly little community!
The home was very clean and had all the necessities that you desire when traveling (fully stocked kitchen, dish soap, laundry soap, trash bags). The beds were very comfy and the home had plenty of space. The location was really relaxing and we enjoyed watching the boating activities on the bay from the deck. We have family in the area and we won't hesitate to book this home again.
My family and I wanted to head south to be closer to the water while our son attended space camp at the Johnson Space Center when we discovered this great place just 11 miles from our son's camp. Mike was great when we asked to extend our stay and super helpful when we had questions and asked for recommendations about where to eat in the area. Watching the sunrise each morning was a highlight of our stay. Overall I would recommend this place for a family - even our French bulldog had a great time. Definitely check this one out.
Michael has this place A1. Everything you need except food and clothes. He is an Excellent Host. He answered ~5 times over same number days immediately when I called. I was impressed with his response and solved my issue every time. Place is so nice for the price. Excellent seafood all around neighborhood
Our family had a great time. It was all made possible by the attention to detail by Michael and his team. We have the habit of packing everything we need, we were pleasantly surprised that everything was already provided from dishes to paper towels. A home away from home, the kids said this was their best vacation ever! Not to forget our adorable pet rabbit! She has a good time as well
Loved everything about this property. Little studio apartment on first floor, 2 bedrooms and pullout on 2nd. Booked for 7 days ended up staying 14. The best thing is it was a fenced in big yard that our three dogs got to run around, as the adults watched the sunrise and enjoying the bay view. Neighbors are only on one side, nice lot next door.. Owner was always available if you had a question. Close to all restaurants and bar and yoga studio around the corner with fishing or sun bathing. We always travel with 2 sets sheets to cover furniture. Looking forward to next time. Niko
We really enjoyed our stay at "The Lone Star". The view is great from the balcony where we enjoyed morning coffees. Fishing is a short walk to the rocks and Kemah always has a lot to offer. The communication and responsiveness from the owner was fantastic, and he worked hard to help ensure our stay was worthwhile.
Great place, Very clean, Calm and quiet neighborhood and if that doesn’t convince you then it’s not far from Kemah Boardwalk and Galveston island also really great communication with the host.
We stayed at this location for a weekend with family and the home was perfect! Everything was exactly as pictured, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was readily available if we needed anything as well. Will definitely be returning for future stays!
Property was fully furnished including plateware silver ware cooking utensils pots and pans. Everything worked fine. Only real complaint was the upstairs living room tv was small and me and another staying guest struggled to make out the text.
