Walk to everything
This hotel is in a great spot in downtown Windsor. You can walk to local bars and restaurants. Walk to the riverfront. Walk to the bus terminal to take the tunnel bus to Tiger/Lions/Redwings games. Staff is super pleasant. Best of all is the great price.

Just Enough
We only needed somewhere to sleep, change clothing and refresh as we were out most of the time we were there. We were mainly visiting family and we stayed in Windsor for ten days.

Property is clean outside and inside.
Room temperature was cold but not freezing. No individual room heating unit other than a very small space heater on table. Owner has been obviously making much needed improvements on an old hotel. Much more is still needed though. Room only equipped with Antenna/airwave TV. Multiple closed circuit cameras monitoring exterior and hallways. Owner and manager very welcoming and helpful.

Good price for what we got
It was nice, we went to eat at the cook shop (fine dining) which is within walking distance and headed to the bull and barrel (bar) also within walking distance, location is perfect, but parking was an issue, where the hotel told us to pay and park earned us a parking ticket

Affordable, good accommodation
This was a decent hotel in a convenient location. I stayed here for three nights during a visit to the city. The price was cheap, but the room comfortable, not too hot or cold, with little extras such as a fridge, TV, and chest of drawers inside. No breakfast, but a vending machine and free coffee/tea outside the room. The room's Wi-fi was good. When I asked, the staff provided me with a small chair as well.

Did not have the reservation! Asked for Credit Card again. - THEN didn't even have a room! Just as happy they had nothing available as this is more like a FLOP HOUSE than a hotel. DON'T BOOK HERE!!!! (also - parking THERE IS NONE) I'm not sure as we didn't get as far as the rooms - but the dingy office had not air conditioning. No elevator.

Surprisingly Satisfactory
Not a very nice building on the outside, but the inside was re-done well: room was small but clean, modern, and quiet. Microwave and fridge included. Programmable lock was very convenient. Front desk staff seemed very unprofessional and was mostly absent. Surrounding neighbourhood seemed pretty vacant: most buildings closed or boarded up except a few convenience stores nearby - luckily it was only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beautiful waterfront and Caesars. Street was quite wide and still felt safe, even at night. Overall, considering the price, this hotel was very reasonable; all the basics were taken care of.

This hotel was clean but very very basic. Very small and what we paid to stay was not worth it. Walking distance to downtown.

Small rooms but excellent service.
The rooms are very small but clean. The staff are excellent and very helpful and polite. They recommended a restaurant that was excellent. The building was a little noisy very late into the night (not sure if that was other guests or the staff). Rooms don't have their own climate control so our room was a little chilly. Staff did supply us with extra blanket and pillows though and were very nice about it. This hotel is in a good location.

Amazing service. Super friendly family-run business, lovely couple running the place. Everything you need, nothing you don't, clean, simple, great location, free parking, steps from downtown centre. Perfect for the price!

Simple, quaint hotel.
Hotel staff was very accommodating. Room was clean and practical. Not too far from downtown area. Parking I'd had too recommend upgrading. It was in a strange area and a little confusing for someone who is not familiar with area. I'd recommend to someone who is visiting Windsor wanting a little peace and quiet without being too far from the action.

Not a good place to stay!
A cheap motel or sleeping in the car would have been much better. The location was good and Windsor was great fun but the room they gave us was not clean and it was stuffy. There is no heat or air control in the rooms, just a ceiling vent. The bed was so worn it was almost comical. No Microwave or coffee available as advertised. Cancelled second night reservation. Happy to leave in the morning. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Great stay at Bexon
We had a great stay here. Hotel is a little run down looking from the outside but the rooms are well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again for that alone. Overall for the price, it's great as you're right by the downtown night life.

Stayed at the Bexon Rooms after attending a concert in Detroit. Perfect location, walking distance, 3 blocks from bus terminal and tunnel. Friendly staff and clean comfortable room. Would definitely stay there again!

A great experience. The manager was so nice. They helped with many things from upgrading the room to great rates and helping me with loads of luggage. Everybody was so nice and I would definatly recommend this place.

2 words. Garbage and horrible. Wonder how they have such a good rating. Bed was horrible and bathroom was even worse with holes where pipes are coming out of the wall made it look like a very poor reno project

bexon "rooms" is correct
it IS a room almost like a boarding house NOT a hotel. very clean,functional, and comfortable. my room 105 was larger than most with spacious bathroom. lighting a bit too florescent for my taste but bedding, microwave, fridge, desk and hugh flat screen made up for over brightness. forget a view, just keep blinds close unless you want to look at buildings next door. it is a nice simple place if you want a budget room in downtown area of windsor. staff very friendly.

Serviceable and pleasant stay
The Hotel Bexon worked for our one-night stay for the Windsor Blues Fest. The hotel is a few blocks down the street from the busiest part of Ouellette in downtown Windsor. It was an easy walk to the riverfront (though not 5 minutes) and many main drag bars and restaurants are just blocks away. We enjoyed a clean room but had very noisy guests down the hall from us. The HB parking is limited but worked ok for us in this case. If there was a full house, I doubt the 4 parking spaces available would have sufficed. Also, they could do something with the landscaping in front of the place. However, the front desk staff was very hospitable and friendly. Unfortunately, netflix in room did not work unless you had your own private account. All in all, for the price, HB is a decent value.

Near Detroit-Windsor tunnel, so good location if your planning at stop while travelling to or from USA, but don't expect a nice neighborhood. Finding a restaurant for dinner was a quite a experience in those sketchy streets... Fridge in the room, but you'll need to go the hall to find a kettle...

It made for a really bad first impression although our room was very clean and comfortable. The lawn at the front had foot high weeds growing, the entry way and steps up to the rooms were obviously dirty, the reception area was tucked off to one side without a view of the entrance. The whole effect was strikingly different from the pictures on the website, which look quite modern. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, though, so for a good night's sleep it was cheap for Windsor. I forgot a shirt in the room when I left, and despite 2 phone calls and agreement to send it on if I paid the cost, nothing has happened in 2 weeks. So, a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for.

Clean and Comfortable
It was a pleasant stay; I spent a week and I would definitely return. The first night was very noisy, as a couple of young people from the states were in the room above my room. Amanda, one of the workers, was very apologetic regarding the noise from the young people. They left the following morning and after that the place was very quiet for the remainder of my stay. The employees were very helpful and pleasant and responded to requests made. They provided unlimited amount of bottled water and also provided coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The facility was not fancy but I was definitely impressed with how clean it was. I would definitelyreturn to Bexon.
