My party had no issues with this but if someone is very shy they may take offense. There is a great diner on the corner run by the lovely Fatma, Fabulous coffee. My only suggestion is to add a hook or two in the smaller bathroom. Our entire experience was simply excellent. From the welcoming valet (Fahren) who made an extra trip to my car to retrieve my charger, to James the bellhop who knows just what to say to calm travel nerves, to Navaja at the front desk who took care of our every need. I know I have butchered their names but I couldn’t ignore their outstanding performances. This hotel is a great hotel not just because of the architecture and history but the staff makes ALL the difference!!! The pool was beautiful and welcoming. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The building is old so there are plumbing issues but that’s not the fault of the hotel. Our room was surprisingly quiet for the French Quarter especially when you factor in the close proximity to Burbon street. If you’re wondering if you should choose this hotel don’t hesitate and book it!!!"
