The Edgewater is a beautiful hotel that has a gorgeous view of the lake from the rooms and restaurant and from the street, the state Capitol. Hotel is clean, elegant and service was excellent.

Our room was clean and spacious. We had a lovely swim. The only observation I would make is that the pool towels are extremely small so if travel with your own take them with you. The location was fine. Outside of the capital but we knew that beforehand and it was only a short drive in with surprisingly easy parking when we got there. Plenty of parking at the hotel. Nice bar area.

Everything you need after a long journey from the UK. No fuss check-in, a late bar, and a big, comfortable bed with views to the Capitol. In the heart of the action downtown, yet calm and quiet.

Pleasant and comfortable hotel in close proximity to shopping (East Towne Mall) and restaurants. Hotel room was clean and well presented. Good shower, really comfortable beds. Air conditioning a bit noisy but fortunately was not needed. Overall good value.

We stayed 8 nights and the hotel and staff could not have been friendlier. Great selection of hot cooked food and breakfast cereals, eggs, porridge, pancakes,fruit etc. The hotel outside and inside was very clean,tidy and well appointed. The gym and swimming pool and whirlpool were superb. Thanks to all staff and management for their hospitality during our stay.

A very well appointed hotel, close to highway with easy parking. We benefitted from the Wednesday evening 'Social' during which I chatted to the chef, Richard. He was a great guy. The room was large, the bed comfy and the bathroom good and clean.

Very nice hotel slightly let down by the hot element of the breakfast which was not as good as normally provided by Hampton Inn.
