"Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the resort. The staff was generally very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and the atmosphere is definitely a highlight. The parties were amazing, so if you’re looking for a fun, lively vacation, you will absolutely enjoy yourself. The water park was also a great addition and provided plenty of entertainment. The food was good overall, but I would have liked more variety. Many of the same options were offered each day, and I was surprised there weren’t more traditional Jamaican dishes available throughout the stay. One area that could use improvement is customer service when problems arise. While the staff was pleasant during normal interactions, we experienced a noticeable change in responsiveness when we encountered a few serious issues. In those situations, we were advised that the resort could not assist because the concerns involved third-party companies. While I understand that some services may be operated independently, guests should still feel supported by the resort when issues happen during their stay. Overall, it’s a beautiful and entertaining resort with a lot to offer, especially for travelers looking for a fun atmosphere. With more food variety and stronger guest support when concerns arise, the experience could be even better."

"Wonderful Stay at Riu Palace Aquarelle 🇯🇲 I had a great overall experience at Riu Palace Aquarelle. The property is beautiful, clean, modern, and well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and kept very clean, and the pool areas were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Jamaican sunshine. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the experience even better. I also enjoyed the atmosphere around the resort, especially the swim-up bar and entertainment. The food had a good variety and there were plenty of options throughout the day. The resort has a nice balance between relaxation and having things to do. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Riu Palace Aquarelle to anyone looking for a relaxing all-inclusive vacation in Jamaica. I would happily visit again! 🇯🇲"

"We stayed at the resort for 3 nights! We enjoyed every single moment of our stay. Our arrival was very pleasant. The front desk staff was very helpful and informative on everything and explained everything well. The bellhop staff were very accommodating and ensured that our bags would be safe until we checked in to our room. Our room was very clean and smelled clean when we arrived. We were celebrating our 15 year anniversary so the room was decorated nicely to accommodate our special moment. Ms. Beverly the housekeeper always went above and beyond to tidy up our room! ALL of the staff at the Jasmine Cafe were very helpful and attentive. Lisa, Leshaun, Clinton , were all great servers I can’t remember all of their names but we loved them all! The food was good. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner gave a great representation of Jamaica! We tried the Italian restaurant onsite as well and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! The bars were okay depending on the bartender you had. Ian, Faye, Linton, were great. They all gave recommendations on drinks or interacted with us. The resort still seemed to be recovering from Hurricane Melissa so everyone was actively working everyday that we were there to fix any issues from that. The poolside deli was 10/10. It rained for most of our stay but we still had a great time! This resort is not recommended for the younger party crowd unless you just want to relax and eat. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach - All Inclusive

"The resort is very well maintained. The staff are pleasant & happy overall. The beach area is large. The ocean has seagrass but there are many sandy parts. The food selection at the buffet is good & the food was great. Smokehouse, Jamaican, & Italian restaurants do not require reservations. Only the Japanese restaurant requires a reservation. Plenty of chairs around the pool & on the beach. The vendors along the beach are annoying. Despite security trying to usher them away, they would not leave. The vibe overall is relaxed. Various age groups while we were there September 8-15, 2026. The weather was amazing. It was sunny & hot despite any weather forecasts of thunderstorms or rain."
