Both beds were comfortable when you laid on them; one had bed bugs which we didnt sleep on. Room 104 smelled terrible, even after the staff "cleaned" the room again. When we complained to the manager, he said he didnt smell anything wrong. The hotel agreed to change our rooms the, then changed their minds, then gave me the key after I insisted they do so (long protracted argument) . All of the staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything we asked. Khan, in the dining room was especially attentive to our needs and always tried to make us more comfortable. The pool area is lovely too so you can relax after a hot day. It’s a bit further away from Kandy centre but I would say worth it for the stunning views and you can get a cheap tuk tuk into the centre in around ten minutes so fine for us.
