"The place is what you pay for I guess. You'd think £60 would go farther in Tanzania but apparently not, Arusha is expensive. Basically, rooms are like prison cells, bathrooms terrible, and it took a few tries to find a room with working aircon. Staff were friendly enough if a little inefficient. What is with having to ask for toilet paper all the time - just have some in the room, its a basic necessity!!!"

"The hotel is really boutique and cute ! It’s right on the water which is amazing & the pool is perfect for when the tide is low. The breakfast was perfect nothing too over the top, but a lot of options! Only downfall was there was a storm and the power went out and they were having issues with the generator so we didn’t have power and then when we did get power it kept going on and off in the middle of the night and the AC would go off and it was so hot in the middle of the night! Otherwise...

They can answer any questions and get you a safe taxi, etc. The rooms are spotless , modern and beautiful. All you could ask for in amenities! The food is delicious and their service is exceptional. We basically ate all our meals there rather than try to find something else. Their menu should satisfy most people and I am sure if you wanted something special, they could accommodate you. Highly recommend the Sanna Boutique if you are in Arusha!"

"This is my favorite hotel in Zanzibar. I have stayed at the Park Hyatt Zanzibar last year and came back again this year. It is a wonderful hotel with great staff and quality accommodations. The rooms and the hotel is super clean, the food is the best and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is a plus- you can easily walk and explore Stone Town. I love the soaking bath after swimming and watching TV at the same time - very relaxing. I definitely recommend Park Hyatt Zanzibar. "
