"First of all the front desk lady attention was outstanding , lovely and polite . The hotel location is perfect for your road trip rest time , it’s super clean . In addition to that the breakfast area opens at 6am but we have to leave around 5 am and the staff allowed us to get what we need while they were preparing it. That was amazing 100% recommended"

"The breakfast had very little to offer compared to other places. My biggest complaint was the dirty bathtub rusting fixtures in the tub and overall chipped furniture and the terrible sagging bed. This place needs an overhaul. I won't stay there again."

"We stayed at Wedmore Place toward the end of April, when the property wasn’t fully open for the season—but even so, the setting and location were absolutely spectacular. They’ve done a beautiful job capturing the charm and elegance of a chateau nestled in a vineyard, while still being conveniently close to Williamsburg’s attractions and amenities. We never felt too far removed from everything we wanted to explore. We stayed in the “Burgundy” room, which was far more spacious than we expected—comfortable, well-appointed, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff truly made the experience stand out. Everyone was warm, personable, and accommodating. On our last day, due to a staffing issue, the dining room was closed—and we had overslept and missed the notice. Without hesitation, the woman at the front desk brought a full breakfast to our room. It was a thoughtful and generous gesture that didn’t go unnoticed (and it was delicious). We’re already looking forward to returning during peak season to experience everything the property has to offer. Thank you for making our romantic getaway so memorable."

"Our visit started with a 45 min check in process, which involved the front desk clerk having to go check our room to see if it was ready. She also had to do this with the couple in front of us. I had lots of questions, as to why she was having to go personally check, and what was she doing. She was gone for almost 15 mins checking our room, which made we wonder if she was half way cleaning a dirty room. This hotel supposedly had been remodeled recently, and I can tell this was basically a little makeup on a old girl. The carpet was very muddy and dirty. I suspect this is from the hard working crew that is building the casino across the street. The bed and the liens were comfortable and clean. Although I still wish hotels actually gave you a blanket and not two sheets covering something else that looks like a another sheet. Parking and access is convient at a light and highway. The breakfast was extremely basic, nothing too wow. Some dry cereal, scoop yogurt, oatmeal packets, a few bagels to toast, the standard waffle. There was so eggs but they weren't looking to yummy. No fruit to seen. The elevator was loud and acted strange when it would take off. It definitely made me think twice about using it. Overall I think I'll pass on this location in the future, and look for something a little further out, even though it's convenient to the casino."
