"This is a beautiful, one of a kind hotel. The hotel manager provided us with exceptional service and made us feel at home. The room was beautifully prepared. The location is perfect for visiting the historic castle district of Cagliari and it’s easy to find nearby parking. Be ready to walk a bit - but that is everywhere in Cagliari as it’s built onto a hill. The room was large, the bathroom modern, and the room was nice and warm during our winter stay. We were in the junior suite with our daughter on a camp bed and she found it very comfortable. I can understand some comments that it might be noisy as the windows are historic and not double glazed. However, we slept perfectly - during our winter break, we hardly noticed any traffic passing on the outside street. The free wifi worked well for us. Our little girl is still talking about the amazing breakfast - particularly the different cakes! We are looking forward to visiting again soon - this will definitely be our “go to” hotel when going to Cagliari."

"We arrived 1 day before the resort was to close for the season so it was nice and not too busy. Good service in getting guests around on arrival. They upgraded us from a classic to superior room which has a terrace, but the room was very basic, not of 4* standard. No hair dryer, no kettle, no dressing table, and 2 little sachets of shampoo and shower gel were all that was offered. There was no table or arm chair in the room, 2 little side tables were the only table surface you have in tbe room. The room was big enough to have a little table and a couple of comfy chairs, as you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. The outdoor beaches were very beautiful and well kept, but the main pool where people gather for drinks day and night was not well kept, and on the dirty side when we went for a drink in the evening. Drity tables and dead leaves around the area is not 4*. Air conditioning was sketchy, it kept stopping every now and then, and the maintenance man showed us if you unplug then replug and switch on, it works again. We did this a few times, including in the middle of night we woke up too hot. Breakfast was very average."

"Fantastic hotel with a beautiful location and great service. The food is really good and the staff are friendly and professional. The views across the bay from the sheltered sunbathing spots and incredibly relaxing. Rooms are a little small and the gym could use an update. "

"Excellent location to everything in town and ferry. Hotel is immaculate and staff goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. To make ever better, my only suggestion is to install towel hangers in the bathroom and consider having taller pillows thanks n the closet as an option. We would highly recommend La Maddalena and this hotel. "

"The property is in super location and so close to train station and right in old city center. If you don’t need a car, it’s perfect place to be. Get the train from the air Ot for $1.30 per person and within 5 minutes or so you will arrive to Cagliari’s train station. For foreigners leaving back home, you can come back to the train station and do the Rapid test for FREE and get the results within 20 minutes. The restaurants are really under your armpits. You open the entry door and make sure don’t hit anyone outside before closing the door. The coffee shop with a breakfast material, you will find with a few steps away on the corner. Great staff to wake you up. Martina was helping us so much. Unfortunately we did not see her. Technically she was Siri!!!every time when I need some info I dial to Martina like a Siri on my iPhone, an she came back with answer, like a Ginny from the bottle"

"The hotel was in a great location right across from the beaches. The old town was a 20-22 minute walk away which was a little long but good exercise after sitting on the beach all day. The hotel itself was functional. It was clean, helpful and friendly staff, and the breakfast was good. We did not spend time at the pool as the little shade that was available was taken both times we went. However, we really enjoyed the beach which was right across the street"

"Fantastic place. Kind staff, nice rooms, comfortable rooms, good facilities. My only comment would be to fix the shower lay out as it is somewhat disturbing to always walk out of the shower with water overflow around the bathroom. Other than this the place is amazing"
