"The location is nice and quiet, with lovely restaurants around and beautiful views of the lake. The property itself is stunning, and is fantastic value for money. The walk into town is actually quite nice, or you can easily grab a tuc tuc if in a rush.
My only suggestions for improvement are that it was quite difficult to contact the host using the number provided through Expedia; however, there was a number on the door when I arrived which proved much more fruitful. I realise they probably cost more, but blockout blinds are really necessary when the sun comes up at 5.30 and is right in your eyes through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Also, a lot of the older reviews mention someone named ‘James’, who was very helpful, but I never met him. I dealt with Ximena, who, after the aforementioned issues regarding contact, was also very helpful and responsive. She sent people promptly to fix the hot water and TV, and they were also very friendly.
Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend the property to anyone - possibly the best value for money I’ve had in a place."
