"Evening staff was very friendly and pleasant. Room was clean, breakfast was okay. Biggest con for this place- and the reason why we would never stay here again is the $300 damage deposit that wont be returned until *3-5 business days*. My partner stayed here a week ago and was not asked for ANY damage deposit- let alone $300. Reading past reviews now, I see someone was asked to put down a $500 deposit. It feels very predatory. We travel all over the country for work, and this is the first time we were asked to put down that big of a damage deposit for this quality of hotel. Very unfortunate as we pass by this area alot for work and was planning on making this our frequent stay in the area but thats not going to happen anymore. But again, staff was lovely- specifically the man working evening shift, have no complaints on him. "

"The hotel is old and smells old, the air conditioning did not work so I had to ask for a fan that only worked in one socket, couldn’t get hardly any channels on tv, the shower took about 10 minutes for the hot water to come through and I didn’t go down for breakfast, however they were kind enough to shorten / extend check in & out times. I did have coffee machine, fridge and microwave and clean linen. "

"The house is small but totally adequate for our purpose to give us space to visit when not doing the rodeo stuff. We appreciated the washer & dryer and the kitchen especially. The street is quiet but yet close to everything we needed. Not being from the area, we found some sort of bug crawling on the floors and walls - not a huge issue but just wondered about it? Maybe the host could give some info on this."
