Hotel is family run and they certainly know how to make you feel at home. Angela is a gem.

Difficult to know where to start ! Awesome location, fabulous room great breakfast and terrific service. I have run out of superlatives. Roberto and Giuseppe were extremely good and informative, pretty much the Sulmona Tourist office. Would visit Sulmona again just to stay here.

I have stayed in many hotels in many different countries over the years. I have never seen a hotel with such excellent cleanliness, breakfast, and staff. I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of the staff members. They were helpful and friendly in every way. I am very happy that I chose this hotel and I will recommend it to everyone. A great hotel, with a mix of old style stone and all the modern comforts. The owner was superb, a real gentleman, with a good selection of books and maps to help you plan exploring and hiking in the local hills, meadows and gorges. The best breakfast, extremely generous selection and awesome coffee. Extremely highly recommended.

Very friendly staff and good location

At "Il Poggio dei Pettirossi" we found peace, discreet luxury, respectful privacy, a warm and welcoming hospitality. Our apartment (Dolce cinguettio) was a large, clean and fully furnished self-catered accommodation, on ground floor, step free access from the private parking. The room has a functional gas hob, a microwave and a small fridge with cookware. Conveniently located within literally a few minutes driving distance from Pettorano and Sulmona.
