A short but very sweet stopover for us at this lodge. The staff are beyond excellent and offered great service, activities and fabulous food. So glad we stayed and suggest you do too.

Clean rooms, kitchen facilities were good as we arrived on Christmas Day so nothing was open. Glad to be able to cook a meal for my family on this day. Hot tub was a lovely touch. The fridge was also very useful since we had a few items to chill. The proximity to the shark dive center is also very convenient. Definitely can recommend.

We received a warm welcome whereby Natasha showed us where to park, where to eat, the property and extras like mini bar and fruits. As it was Christmas Eve she also reminded us that places close early and that we needed a reservation for restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and cosy with fluffy duvets and pillows. Outstanding welcome from the owners. Fabulous location for the Cliff walk which was absolutely stunning. Little touches that made our stay special. Breakfast was amazing and the porridge was delicious! Off road safe parking👍 Our room was beautiful overlooking the mountains with a large veranda. More like a 5 star suite. Gorgeous room scents! Lovely location, rooms and super welcoming and helpful owners and staff. We were unable to leave due to flooding in the area so had the pleasure of staying one more day.

Highlight of our holiday. We stayed for 2 nights and went on 4 drives and saw so many amazing animals. Pretty much everything very close to the vehicle - which was more than I could have hoped for. Our ranger was passionate and knowledgeable as well as determined to make the most of our trip for us. Wonderful host who were very flexible with our late check in. The place is really comfortable and clean and tidy with lots of amenities.

This was such a special place to stay, feel like we found a little slice of paradise! The accommodation was stunning, the grounds amazing, the pool area gorgeous! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, breakfast was gorgeous and cooked to order! Unbelievable stay, wish we had longer there ❤️

Abalone Guest House is great. Excellent welcome and hospitality. Good location overlooking the ocean towards Voelklip about 5k to the east of Hermanus.

Truly a luxury experience with champagne welcome, three course breakfasts, real fires in the rooms and staff, at all levels, who were welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend this accommodation - beautiful rooms in a beautiful setting which was enhanced by the service provided by the staff through the car being washed in the morning, fires being lit in your room in the evening to the outstanding food and willingness by the staff to make your holiday a wonderful experience.
