"We last sayed at Kwa Maritane approx 20 yrs ago when we lived in Joburg. A long time later revisited with 3 children and it has lost nothing in that time as was as we remembered. Perfect safari taster for the children with big 5 in Pilanesberg, friendly staff and knowledgeable game drivers, comfortable and great food and just a pretty chilled out place to enjoy a malaria free game park. On doorstep on Sun City where we also stayed for 2 nights and for those with kids - valley of waves, 2km zip wire, segway and me and mrs even managed our first game of golf for about 12 months. We had heard reviews that places like kaw maritane were not what they were in the past - don't listen - it was a great few days and highly recommend "

"The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Whenever we had a request they immediately addressed it. We had very cold days here and being ignorant of the underfloor heating facility, didn't use it. First thing in the morning when the cleaner came in she immediately switched all on, showed us how it works. This is an ideal place for families. It really caters for all ages and groups, from small toddlers, teenagers and those that want nice spa facilities. The game roaming around as well as the great golf fields just give that extra touch of tranquility. When our time came to leave we decided to extend for another week, but because of a public holiday as well as father's day the place was jam packed. Indicating our disappointment on not getting some more time, one of the office staff made an effort to make some space for us by moving the shorter stay customers and we had an extra week."
