"Great location - super central and good value for money. Breakfast was quite basic but fine. Few issues around maintenance eg towel holder in room broken, stains on carpet in room. gym toilets don’t have locks and the lockers still seems to have works in progress (as building materials were in some lockers). Also no body lotion provided in rooms,
Staff overall friendly however I did find that there is an insistence to use the hotel taxi / shuttle service which is generally more expensive vs booking the general city white taxis when going to the airport (which when I stayed at the Marriot they were happy to do for you.)
This was a slightly poor experience (I understand they are incentivised to use their own people but they should really do what the customer requests.) In my case they ended up matching the price of a local taxi via their own shuttle service however I felt the interaction with front desk could be much smoother around booking cars and letting customers choose themselves if they wish to avail the hotel shuttle car or a local white taxi.
That all said despite the small observations above I think the hotel is good value for money."
