Excellent hotel- they just get everything right, even dealing with problems. At one point we were miscommunicated breakfast time but the staff were so fantastic at dealing with the problem by ensuring that we were looked after that it not only wasn’t a problem - it was turned into a big positive. They take customer service very seriously. Excellent experience all round - other hotels could learn a lot. Great food. Lovely location. And very quiet l. All round well done !

The Konventa Sēta Hotel is centrally located. 35mins from the airport using bus 22. We got off at the first stop after crossing the bridge (bibliotecka - library) and we used Google maps to check we were heading in the right direction and to locate the hotel. It was a short 10mins walk. The hotel is situated in the old part of the city, the beautifully cobble streets just adds to the overall attractiveness. The hotel is made up of a cluster of old convent buildings with a courtyard linking them...

It's an amazing hotel ,with history touch. Beautifully decorated. Convenient location. Recommending this place to treat yourself.

Book a front facing room as back rooms are noisy from the kitchen extractors and aircon units

There is no temperature control in the room except for radiators this means that it gets hot in the day during summer and then just a bit too cold at night. This could be controlled I guess by switching on the radiators on a thermostat but I did not see one in the room. The hotel is quite a long way from the centre of town so get a taxi first time you go. There is a strange situation with taxi's where some cars are much more expensive. The bar is good though and when I got back late at night...
