Day 1-2: Many travellers enter Latvia via Riga International Airport. Explore the capital city’s most popular attractions, such as the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum, Old Town and the Riga Ghetto Museum. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around Riga's art nouveau district and marvel at the architecture.

One of Latvia’s biggest national celebrations is the Proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, on November 18. Torchlight processions are held around the country on this day, with the largest procession in Riga.
