"Beautiful Historic hotel, with gorgeous architecture. Our room and bathroom were spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant in the lobby had excellent food and service- home of the “Hot Brown”, which I highly recommend! My husband and I felt the shuttle service offered by the hotel was exceptional. We utilized it to get to our dinner reservations, and for airport transfers. Every single staff member was amazingly friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again when we return...

"We will definitely be returning to this house in the years to come! The lake access wasn’t available unless you wanted to sink in mud because since there has been so much flooding, the lake had risen up so far up the property to where you really couldn’t find the path. But there is plenty of other places to fish and enjoy the water. Nolan Dam is cool. The house is very very well stocked with everything from dog toys, kids toys. Games, kitchen appliances and the kitchen is more stocked than any...

"The hotel was adequate for what we needed. Nightshift staff was really nice. I had to wait to be picked up after check out, I was able to wait in lobby but it was really cold in the lobby. "

"The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but honestly was not a concern during my stay since i was predominantly away during the day. I was in one of the "older" rooms and it was thoroughly comfortable. Breakfast area already renovated nicely (please dont go too "modern" looking!) Bartender great, and attentive. Breakfast far too expensive for the offerings. "
