We stayed for four nights and absolutely loved this place. Firstly the location was lovely, right on the river bank. Very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was served in the garden overlooking the water. Breeze of Paradise is the only place I stay at when visiting the Colombo area of Sri Lanka. It's a nice, quiet, safe and comfortable place. Kala & Suresh are lovely hosts and very welcoming and this too is another reason why I come back. I've stayed in other hotels in the past but they're nothing like this. Definitely give this place a look!

We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. The staff, Alex, was particularly very considerate. The hotel even provided us with complimentary breakfast on the first day since they felt that we came early in the morning and might not be able to go out for breakfast in time. Really nice of them! We spent a couple of nights in Mount Lavinia on arrival in Sri Lanka - this place was a good choice - clean and very well appointed, with helpful staff. Close to the railway station; and walking distance to the main road where you can get a bus. The location is initially a bit off-putting, down a back alley, but once you are inside it is really nice and it is a few hundred yards from the beach, where there are lots of restaurants and the nearby Mount Lavinia hotel, great for a sundowner on the...

Kreation is a beautiful boutique hotel with all facilities and friendly staffs. Food is also good. Rooms are very clean. Overall it's a nice experience at Colombo.

Super location for us, 2 miles outside of Hikkaduwa on a quiet lagoon. Ideal if you wanted to travel around the local area or near enough by tuk tuk to the beach. Lovely pool which was cleaned regularly and surrounded by trees which you could see many local birds and animals from. Friendly staff. Great food. Staff helped arrange a rental scooter for us.
