"Out in the boondocks! I chose it in order to be close to the airport for an early flight out the next day after staying at a luxury resort for the week prior. Turned out the direct route to the airport was under road closure (not the Kauai inn’s fault) so we actually needed to adjust our timing in order to make our flight. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and gracious."

"The swimming pool was under construction. There is a tiny Jacuzzi and a pool but they’re on the seventh floor and get very windy so was not a relaxing time. But since it’s a bit farther away from Waikiki Beach, it is extremely quiet. "

"Centrally located across of Hilo Bay and less than 10 minutes from the airport so that was convenient. The property is older yet you can see the many upgrades and updates they have done however, there are a lot of stairs to climb with no elevator options. Hallways are also narrow and you can feel the floors are not leveled evenly. Overall the customer service was beyond excellent and you can feel the Aloha spirit of the staff! "
