"This was supposed to be a romantic getaway but it wasn't. The weather played a major factor. The hotel was ok a bit rustic they upgraded me to a suite but it didn't have any wifi or a working television. The food was amazing but there was little to do as far as excursions. The staff was very kind and were working hard to help us but this definitely fell short of 4 stars which I was expecting. To top it of they charged me $80 for the boat ride to the island as if I could get there any other way...

"The staff are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate their guests. The management team is the best I’ve seen at any location I’ve vacationed before. The honeymoon room was set up with rose pedals, kissing doves and wine. Also, now with covid testing requirements to renter into the USA, they have a partnership with a medical clinic that comes to the hotel for rapid testing. I had NO problems at the airport boarding my plane. Did I mention...some of the BEST Haitian food I’ve ever...

"The Beau Rivage was a very local hotel. The staff spoke very little English, which is something to be aware of if you don't speak French. The staff were very friendly, but didn't know much about getting around; how to arrange a visit to La Citadelle or the buses to the Dominican Republic. I went to another hotel to arrange this.
