This is a divers paradise. We never saw another dive boat the entire week as there is only one other resort that can even dive the North part of the Great Astrolabe Reef from their land based location. The resort is top notch too. It is outstanding. I would caveat that it’s not for everyone, there are limited options of food, there’s no room service, and some of the staff returns home every night. If you’re expecting a 24 seven full attention luxury resort this is not the place if he wants somewhere that is of exceptional quality with a lot of space for yourself and a bit more relaxed this is great. The staff is outstanding and extremely friendly, and the small number of guests and staff makes this a much more interesting stay than anything else. The pool is incredible, the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and the reef and sea is a true highlight. We are already planning our next trip back."
