Stunningly beautiful island! Fabulous that it is owned and run by Fijians. Bure’s were well scattered around the small Island, cleverly facing towards the sea giving the illusion of privacy. The construction of them however could do with a little more thought and insulation as the ‘duplex’ ones you can hear your neighbour whisper. Despite the year-round prevalence of mosquitoes there was zero insect netting on any door or window. The windows comprised of wooden louvres with gaps as big as several cm in places. Much repellent was utilised. Food was basic but delicious, not an enormous variety. The islands main supply boat capsized a few weeks or so before we arrived, getting adequate produce and other goods out to the island was restricted to a boat 1/4 the size of the original. There was a small amount of watercraft available for use- first in first served. Several kayaks/ stand up paddle boards and a catamaran sailboat. Some snorkeling equipment and they helped me get in touch with a dive company that picked me up from the beach. There is a turtle sanctuary on the island where they raise the babies from hatching and release them into the ocean at a year old when they are much more capable of survival. Such a beautiful learning institution. There is also a couple of crested iguanas in an aviary where you can feed them. Definitely recommend as part of island hopping or a day trip.

Bula!!! My husband and I had an amazing time at the LikuLiku Resort. The staff are all so genuine friendly, happy and very attentive to our stay. I love it that it's an adults only resort with the peace and quiet escaping for the busy city life. The meals are made with local fresh ingredients. Very delicious in every dish and are all inclusive with our stay. Our three night trips are unforgettable. From the beautiful beachfront bure to the warm hospitality from every staff. Next time to Fiji, we will definitely return to this magical place.

We booked 2 glamping villas, one for us and the other for our 17 & 22 year old sons. From the moment we were picked up by the red boat, we were made to feel so welcome with everyone we met giving us a huge genuine grin and a “Bula”. The people, the food, the pool, the snorkelling and the glamping villas were all awesome. Simi makes the best lemon, lime & bitters at the bar. The glamping villas were next level with all of the amenities of a hotel room while also feeling like you were camping on the beach. We’re already planning a return trip next year. Highly recommend!

Clean rooms the house was absolutely perfect for our wedding group. We had some of the most amazing views and it was in a perfect location near the airport. An issues we had were dealt with immediately.

We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay on Mana Island. I think it is best summed up as being a 3 or 4 star resort in a 5 star location. We were in an Ocean View Bure which was spotlessly clean, but showing a few signs of it's age such as chipped paint / tiles in the bathroom. It didn't detract from out stay, and the warmth of the staff, the location, and the view all made up for this. For food we had the half board option so breakfast and dinner were included. What was incredibly handy was the ability to convert your buffet meal to credit to be used at one of the restaurants. We did this a couple of nights where the buffet theme didn't align with our taste and found the FJD$79 per adult, $35 per child credit more than sufficient to enjoy a meal in the a la carte dining. The quality of the buffet food was average... but you don't go to Fiji expecting Michelin star food. Expect a long wait for a fresh omellete to be made if you go during peak breakfast, on our checkout day we ate in peace at 7am and wish we'd gone that early other days. The south beach restaurant is closed for renovations, would have been nice to try if it was open. Swimming at the south beach offered deeper water and a jump platform, whereas the north beach is shallow for quite someway before you get decent depth. We loved it and heard from other travellers that things are on the up following a recent ownership / management change.
