I put on the original reservation that there would be 3 adults, but another person decided to stay with us, which made 4 adults. When I checked in, the person at the desk said she would have to charge for the extra person, which turned out to be a little over $12. I was unaware that they charged per person. I thought the room charge that...

"This is an outstanding place to stay in the Ft Smith area. If you ride the Arkansas Missouri rail to Van Buren, it would be worth the Uber or car rental. Hosts are eager to communicate with you. You won’t be disappointed if you like drinking your morning coffee on the front porch of your private rustic but very comfortable log cabin."
