We stayed there as we were playing golf at nearby Slieve Russell which is a 4 minute drive away. Really nice room, excellent breakfast and run by a really nice couple so what else is there to say!?

Excellent clean modern room . Excellent check in. Fridges and cooking facilities all areas extremely clean would definitely stay again if i am in the area

This was our 2nd trip to Farnham and we will definitely return! Smooth check in. Beautiful room. Sink cracked but otherwise all in good condition and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping staff were very pleasant and happy to help in any way. Even let us pick our favourite Nespresso pods. The Spa is an added bonus although could maybe do with a tidy up in a few places. Love the outdoor pool! We didn’t have any treatments this time but enjoyed Thermal spa and the various relaxation rooms looking out...

Excellent accommodation would highly recommend, Pearl is a superb hostess very friendly and welcoming. It’s easily accessible using the post code . Great scenery and a great start to explore the area .

Amazing, as always. We regularly return to Cabra Castle as it is such a wonderful hotel. The staff are so lovely, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is magical. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely hotel very clean and tidy and staff very friendly. Breakfast was amazing loved having hotfood served and good variety of cereals and fresh juices and pastries. Room was a good size but very very warm shouldn't really be complaining but had to sleep with window wide open. Think it might have been because we were above swimming pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely staff, great food and a comfortable bed.

A surprisingly beautiful location considering it is right next to the N3, however I hardly noticed the traffic and so enjoyed the other side of the hotel which runs right down to the lakeside (as the name suggests) where you can sit out and sample the hotel's fine food and/or beer. An easy bike ride away is Lough Crew which is well worth a visit for the full 360* panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the megalithic pathway tombs on top of the hill. We booked a cabin and received a nice upgrade to a cottage, which was very clean, well decorated, quiet, and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was roomy to cook in, plus there was a nice area to sit outside and gaze at the sweet cows. It's a lovely destination in itself and not far from Trim.

Beautiful property and superb gardens. Tranquil and relaxing. A little gem. Michael & John both great hosts.

Lovely we place very central. Clean, friendly and we had a lovely breakfast cooked fresh. We had a fry and I could not fail it.
