"This hotel is absolutely superb. Room enormous, bed comfortable, well appointed, beautiful decking area and view out of the patio doors across the lake. Staff all very professional and friendly, breakfast pretty good, afternoon tea pretty good. I'd have liked a bit more choice at breakfast as a vegetarian: boiled eggs and marmite, some more vegetables? All a bit greasy. Also more cereal options? Afternoon tea would be better with home made scones! Spa excellent, pool area wonderful, treatments amazing. Gym facilities very good, and really helpful opening at 5am! Thanks, super all round."

"What a find. Lovely old buildings that are decodated & used to maximise their history. The check-in process was great, we changed a few things & nothing was too much ttouble. Food was fabulous, definitely some of the best we've had that was 'pub grub'. And breakfast didn't disappoint either. We love the Thames Head Inn & will definitely return."

"A true Cotswolds village experience- quiet, scenic in a character building. As you would expect, the roads are narrow built in a different era- parking (which was readily available) and traversing the street is just part of the experience (:-))"
