"Beautiful house in a beautiful location. We arrived on a cooler day in November but the house always stayed warm.
Note that this is not the Tejeda you probably heard of but a much smaller village. However, it’s 400m lower and therefore warmer. We appreciated the quiet. "

"First, the communication with the host in English was very good. The description of the cueva was close to the pictures but incomplete and misleading.We could not have figured out that every room had a separate outdoor access, therefore a total of 5 different keys with no identification of which door it opened.After 15 minutes of struggle with the different locks which were in dreadful conditions, we finally figured out that only the kitchen and main bedroom communicated. "Pros: The flat was very clean and comfortable. The Kitchen was very well equipped, perfect for cooking and there is a supermarket right in front of the house. The terrace is spacious and with beautiful views to the mountain.
You have to be aware of, is that that la Aldea de San Nicholas is on the west of the island only connected through different serpentine roads with the rest of the island. For people that like to see the the real Gran Canaria and be close to nature it's perfect....
