"WOW! The price we paid for this room is outrageous! This place is terrible. I'd file a complaint to get my money back if possible. Doesn't look ANYTHING like the pics. We were the ONLY people staying at the hotel. It was like out of a bad horror movie. No phone, no TV, no amenities. It was basically a roof over our heads for almost $400 per night!! "

"We made arrangements for the hotel to pick up at at airport, Upon arrival, no one was there... we called multiple times, no answer. Finally a Man the airport was able to reach someone who walked over to the hotel and told them we were waiting. 45 minutes later someone finally arrived. Surprisingly when we checked in we were upgraded to a Waterfront front room, and offered a late check out when we were leaving..... rough start but, this more than made up for it. "Very nice and helpful staff. Restaurant was a little slow on basic things like water and check-ins, but the view and vibes of the place were quite nice. It’s an island, so it’s not going to be super polished and clean. Our room was on the non- beach side, separated by a small road. When we got in, there were lots of mosquitos in the room, likely from the door being left open during cleaning. That’s my only complaint, all and all quite nice. "

"The location of this apartment is excellent! It is right cross from the beach and near lots of restaurants and bars. That said, the steep drive up to the parking area is not for the faint of heart. There is a small parking spot designated for the apartment right beside the building and it seems quite secure. Do not plan to cook in this kitchen. When we were there, March, 2026, the pots and pans were the typical scratches and worn non-stick that someone should have thrown out ages ago. The kitchen tap is funky. I threw out the moldy coffee in the filter of the coffee maker when we arrived and had to scrub some mold from the shower head. The bed is comfy with nice linens and pillows. We were there for four nights and got clean towels after two days. No other cleaning in the room though the cleaner did check in on us. The older plasma TV has cable? but no way to connect your phone, making it useless for us. It is less expensive for a reason. If these kind of issues bother you then this may not be for you. "

Pool bartender was very friendly - but front desk was not. "
