Stayed for 4 nights.. From start to end everything was perfect. Very good choice for those who love to spend some time alongside nature.Close proximity to negombo town. I had a great time at this hotel. They were kind to accommodate me and let me check in very early at 9am. All the staff were really kind and helpful, as well as hard working. The management were also keen to check that customers were happy and comfortable. Very nice room too

This was our first stop on arrival in Sri Lanka and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are wonderful, the food was gorgeous and the setting by the lake was idyllic. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have high ceilings and views of the lake. Altogether a great start to our holiday.

We have been travelling throughout Sri Lanka staying in hotels for a couple of nights each time, this one was FABULOUS, from the moment you come through the gates, you feel that you're somewhere special, you are then presented with a beautiful turn of century colonial house, the room was HUGE with high ceilings and the biggest antique four poster bed you've ever seen, and matching furniture, the fully modern bathroom is accessed through and old antique door, and the waterfall shower was superb....

Property was nice. The room was big, but it had some ants. The bathroom was very clean. Area around the property isn’t the easiest to navigate at night. Overall, a good place to stay that’s only a 10 minute tuktuk from the airport

I can’t recommend this place enough to stay before or after a flight from Colombo airport. It’s only a 20 minute drive to the airport but you wouldn’t be able to tell as you really do feel like you’re in a peaceful oasis on this hotel site. The paddy fields surrounding it are beautiful as is the hotel itself. We did some fishing in the river at the back of the property with one of the staff and it was lovely, even if we weren’t good enough to actually catch anything. The staff were brilliant,...

Decent room, helpful staff, efficient airport pick up

This is in a beautiful location! High up in the hills. The hotel is lovely. We arrived and waited for an hour or so. It seemsd abandoned and the telephone number was out of order. So we decided to leave and walk down the hill to find another hotel. So lucky for us we asked a man if he had a tuktuk and it turned out he worked at the hotel sometimes so took us back. Indika was incredile. He looked after us from start to finish. Made sure our rooms were kovely and clean. Brought us refreshments....

Wonderful place delightful people it’s simply impossible to do any better

We wanted a stay near the airport and the pictures and reports looked optimistic. However we were overwhelmed by this lovely intimate family resort, the facilities and home cooked evening meal were faultless. We just wished we had booked the day earlier to chill out for two full days before our long flight back to Manchester. It was excellent value for money and I wish the family all success with this new resort.

The place is nice lovely old furniture and room is classy and clean. I made few phone calls to the management but cant reach them they said that they offer free one way transfer but cant reach them so took a taxi late at night but the taxi is not familiar with the name of the place.
