Truly a luxury experience with champagne welcome, three course breakfasts, real fires in the rooms and staff, at all levels, who were welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend this accommodation - beautiful rooms in a beautiful setting which was enhanced by the service provided by the staff through the car being washed in the morning, fires being lit in your room in the evening to the outstanding food and willingness by the staff to make your holiday a wonderful experience.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how we feel about Kapama River Lodge. This place is unbelievable. The Waldorf Astoria is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at... It is stunning and for travellers who want luxury, convenience and an unforgettable stay, this is the place. The hotel oozes quality. The staff are fantastic, the rooms (we were upgraded to a suite) are beautiful, spacious and clean. The facilities, including restaurant and pool are also excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would not stay anywhere else in Cairo - by far the best hotel for miles around....

A beautiful property overlooking the sea. We really loved staying here. Very clean and good breakfast. Staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend staying here for the views, whales, walks and just relaxing.

Room was lovely, staff were lovely, area was lovely and the buffet breakfast was extraordinary. Highly recommend.

Room 61 at the hotel is particularly charming, situated over two floors, and with its own secluded rear garden. It has a very 'homely' feel to it. One evening, as we left our room to dine in the hotel restaurant, the door security latch fell off (I know it's not supposed too...). We placed it to one side, and I was going to report this the following day. To my surprise, the security latch had been replaced by the time we returned later that evening. How's that for efficient service...

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Very friendly check in at the hotel - gave us a full tour and showed us the key features in the room. Excellent club lounge with drinks and nibbles during happy hour. Comfortable and well maintained.

Our room was enormous and soooo comfortable and the view of table mountain made it extra special. The staff at this hotel are outstanding too.

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller. The service was top notch, everyone was all very kind and accommodating. (From asking for breakfast boxes to late checkout — all my requests were met). The morning yoga included in the itinerary was such a bonus treat to my stay. I really love this hotel. It’s so beautiful in a very quiet area of Makadi Bay. My room was huge, and I had a lovely view of the pool. I asked for a quiet room and they gave that to me. I had a few issues but I spoke to Hager (customer relations) and the General Manager and all was resolved quickly and I stayed on two extra days. The food is varied and there is a lot of it. Try their specialised restaurants as they are a treat (you need to book). The hotel should stock decaf coffee but I think...
