Sweeping snow-capped Continental Divide views from Mount Evans to Indian Peaks to Longs Peak from this home nestled on 7+ acres on Scar Top Mountain. Located at the top of a county maintained road, this property offers a truly rare combination of spectacular views, privacy, ultra fast fiber high speed Internet, and limited/no noise pollution while maintaining proximity to Boulder, Golden, and Nederland. Guest access: Guests will be provided a keycode for entrance and will be able to access the entire house, property, and two car garage. Other things to note: Property is located off a well maintained county road that is accessible by all vehicle types. In winter (roughly Oct-April), this road is plowed, but AWD or 4WD is required. Property has high quality fiber Internet for WiFi calling with any cell phone. Traditional cell coverage can be limited, but AT&T does also have 5 bars of service. The views are amazing. The house is very comfortable and even the roads to access the property during the summer months were easier than we had anticipated. West-facing windows provide great views from inside but quickly heat up the entire main floor on hot, sunny summer days, no matter how many portable fans we brought in to use with the ceiling fans and curtains drawn to block sun. No blinds or curtains on upper portion of the living room wall window or in the kitchen/dining area really cooked the house. In contrast, many other days were cool and comfortable in the evenings. We needed "rocks" glasses or cocktail glasses, and there were only water and wine glasses. So little things like that would have made it better. The shower was hot and views were spectacular!! We spent Thanksgiving there and the kitchen was very well equipped and well stocked with cookware Given the amount of glass and where it's located, the house was very warm and draft free. The house was clean and he beds very comfortable. The only negative for us was that the furniture is a little sparse, but it s exactly as pictured on the listing. So that was as I expected.
