Local Roots: I'm Julie, raised right here in Arvada, near the charming chimes of St. Anne's. I know every corner of this town and adore it deeply! My husband and I cherished living in this house, and now we're thrilled to share its warmth and character with you!



• The Ralston is a leisurely 5-minute stroll to Olde Town Arvada's delightful restaurants and bars... with the bonus of FREE and easy street parking :)

• It's also has convenient light rail access: Zip into downtown Denver in 20 minutes. Rockies, Nuggets, and Broncos fans, rejoice!

• Red Rocks concerts and Boulder adventures are just a 20-30 minute drive away.



NOT your typical vacation rental:

• The private and fully fenced backyard is a 4 season oasis complete with a HOT TUB, a patio with out sectional & FIRE PIT, and in the summer... an outdoor movie screen/projector!

Guest Access:

Parking is free on the street in front of the house! There is also parking in the backyard driveway (2 cars tandem) but it's often difficult to get the fence open from the alley so most guests park on the street.



The Neighborhood:

Olde Town Arvada is right on the edge of the city of Denver with a historic downtown area that is one of the Denver hotspots with craft breweries, restaurants, and shops. It has a small town feel within a big city. With the light rail stop (G line) right in Olde Town, visitors can get into downtown Union station in 20 minutes to attend a Rockies, Broncos, Nuggets,or Avalanche game, go see a show at the incredible Denver Center for the Performing Arts, one of the many Museums, or enjoy a night on the town! Arvada is the place where gold was first found in the Denver area and you'll find Olde Town to be warm and hospitable. Arvada is also known for it's walking/biking trails. The city plan includes a trail no further than 10 minute walking distance from any house!



Getting Around:

DRIVING: Depending on the time of day, it's about a 40 minute drive from the airport. From Downtown, about a 15 minute drive.



PUBLIC TRANSPORT: From the airport, about an hour commute (A-line & G-line). 20 minutes to downtown on the G line

Weekend in Arvada

We stayed here while hiking through Colorado. This was our first stay & our favorite out of our 9 days in Colorado & 4 stays. The hosts were prompt at getting us the check in information, with questions & even provided complimentary snacks for our stay. 10/10 would recommend & would stay here again.

Great location!

Perfect location for all the things we wanted to do in the larger Denver area. Easy driving distance to many local attractions and then quick walk to Olde Town in the evenings when we didn't want to cook. Beautiful yard outside space was perfect for traveling with our pup. Thank you!

Beautiful home in a nice area

Loved our stay at this extremely clean, updated home. The backyard and hot tub are awesome, too. It was nice to be able to walk to local restaurants and shops, and at the same time the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe during our visit. We also hiked at Rocky Mountain National Park and saw Garden of the Gods, which were each about a 90-minute drive from the house. Would stay here again!

Great time and great location!

We had a very nice time, property hosts were great and very responsive. It was a 2 minute walk to Olde Town Arvada shops, restaurants, and bars. The house was very comfortable and they had nice "extra" amenities. We really enjoyed the fire table and seating area in the back as well as the spa outside! We'd highly recommend this property!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The house was cute and clean with all the amenities that our family needed! Very kind and prompt correspondence with the owner when needed. Excellent stay for a relaxing time

This property was exactly as described and was in an excellent location for our short trip. Everything was well stocked, clean, and more than adequate to meet our needs. Communication was excellent and any questions we had were answered immediately. Being so close to the old town area made it really easy to grab some late night meals with friendly service. We also took time to enjoy the jacuzzi and blow up screen given the beautiful weather. We’ll definitely keep this location on our short list for returns.

Girls trip

This property was great for our girls trip. 4 of us stayed, it was everyone’s first time in Colorado. The house was perfect. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all kinds of helpful things like coffee, and plastic baggies. The back yard was so cozy for relaxing early morning and in the evenings. Old town Arvada was very cute and a quick walk from the house.

Peaceful Getaway~ Escaping Az Heat

Wonderful very well equipped home. Thoughtful touches throughout~ truly has all you could ever want. The beds were so comfy that I’m now planning on buying the same model so I can sleep that well at home. Julie is above and beyond helpful, responsive and kind! It was so nice to spend quality time with family at this beautiful home! I can’t wait to stay there again!

Perfect house!

We loved this house: All the items we needed i.e.bathroom items and wonderful towels. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could ask for like ziploc bags and plenty of coffee and plates etc. The beds were super comfy and complete with beautiful linens. The location was incredibly close to cute coffee shops and we walked to a great dinner at Smokin Fins. We will return to this fantastic rental.

Cozy home in lively neighborhood

We had a group of six friends stay for a weekend full of board games and exploring downtown Arvada, and had a great time! Julie & Alex were very accommodating and quick to respond to all our questions. The amenities - hot tub, fenced yard for a pet, available laundry - all made this a very comfortable stay. A five-minute walk to the Arvada coffeeshops, restaurants, parks, and Denver Beer Co. capped off a phenomenal weekend. Would gladly recommend this location!

Olde Town Arvada Gem

Beautifully updated older home that still has its original charm. Very clean, beds extremely comfy. Backyard is phenomenal with the pergola fire pit and great seating. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with our stay-first snowfall of the season-so we were not able to enjoy the backyard at all, but we were plenty cozy indoors! Great location and excellent communication with owner.

Red Rock getaway

Bought tickets to a Red Rock concert the house was about 20 min away from Red Rocks. Primary bedroom bed was super comfortable and the house was very clean. Easy communication and very responsive.

Cute, convenient, communicative

My sisters, mom, and baby niece were in town for wedding dress shopping. This place was perfect. There was a pack n play for the baby, three rooms, and an adorable yard. We loved the proximity to coffee shops, dining, and the farmers market (honestly a 3 min walk). Julie was very communicative and we had zero issues checking in or out of the property. We were very impressed and would stay there again.

Old Town Arvada

My husband, myself and our two dogs enjoyed our stay at Julie's place. We needed something in proximity to Red Rocks, but also wanted to explore a different Denver neighborhood. The short distance to the Ralston Creek Trail was ideal for a morning run or a walk with the dogs. The ability to walk to Old Town and explore the great used book store and have a beer was ideal as well. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay at Julie's again.

Yes you want to book this lovely home!

We stayed here while attending a concert at Red Rock amphitheater. Most importantly to us the house is extremely clean! The neighborhood feels very safe. It’s quiet and walking distance to downtown. Everything you need is only a few steps away. No Uber needed. The home is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We even changed plans from eating out to stay in because it was so cozy. Julie (owner) responded immediately when I had a question which for me was another factor in booking this listing. I would definitely book again if I find myself returning to the area.
