Charming Guest Suite Close to Downtown Golden

  • This private and spacious suite is the perfect place for enjoying your vacation. Located in the bottom floor of a private home this suite has a private entrance through the side of the house. Conveniently located at the base of the mountains and within walking distance to Coors, charming Downtown Golden and Natural Grocers, this suite has everything you need to feel all the comforts of home. Red Rocks is only a 15 minute drive from the house making it a great location if you're looking to see your favorite band at Red Rocks, the best venue in the world. The School of Mines is about a 2 minute drive and 15 minute walk to the suite. Colorado boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year and with the closest ski slopes only 45 minutes away and lots of hiking, biking and tubing to be explored, this is a spot for adventure that shouldn't be missed! We allow dogs for a one time non refundable fee of $50.

Heidi's guest suite was great! It was just as advertised: nice quiet neighborhood, clean, super comfy bed, cozy kitchen with lots spices & condiments to use. I could not have been happier with our experience. Very cozy stay and good wifi and location to Golden. We couldn’t be more grateful having been allowed to bring our pups with us and letting us stay through Christmas Day. It also snowed Christmas Eve and was a beautiful view! Great stay and awesome location

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood and nice area to walk our dog. It is also close to downtown and easy to ride our bikes to the creek bike path near downtown. It is a very spacious apartment and beds were very comfortable. The lighting in the main bedroom needs to be improved, it was very dim in the room. The kitchen had everything we needed, except we would have liked an automatic coffee maker. We had a nice 6 night stay.

We were in town for a wedding and had our grandchild for a night so having place with bedrooms was nice. Place was clean and reasonably quiet. Curb appeal to lawn could improve kind of scares you when you drive up. But was better than it looked.

Nice sized apartment with room to spread out. We enjoyed the outdoor space before the snow came! Good neighborhood to walk in and easy access by car or walking to downtown Golden. The lighting is all overhead in the living/dining/kitchen area and a few lamps would be useful.

Comfortable and spacious

Our stay was very comfortable and the space was a lot larger than expected. We had our furry companions with us and the neighborhood was perfect for walking them. Views of the mountains all around us made it relaxing. Coffee was provided and kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Special touches by the owners made it seem like they truly care. We were not bothered by noise or neighbors. We will be back in December and will stay again if available.

Golden Suite

Our hosts, Heidi provided numerous extras in her rental suite, qtips, blow dryers, shampoo, coffee, spices, etc. We would definitely book this suite again, the location was perfect for our family. Suite was very clean. The only negative things were the couch is very uncomfortable and needs replaced, I would replace with a small sectional as if there were four adults renting the unit, there's not enough seating available. The rental is also very loud during the day with the upstairs noise but we expected that. During sleeping hours and early morning, it was very quiet. Loved this rental!

This place is in a great neighborhood close to playgrounds and shopping that you can walk to. This was an ideal location for our visit to Golden. We normally stay in a hotel, but the cost and proximity to things we wanted to do wasn't great. This allowed us to easily get to downtown Golden and spend time together in a comfortable apartment. The beds were comfortable, but the sound of people walking around upstairs would wake us up nightly. We decided that we would probably stay here again, but bring white noise machine.
