This 2-bed, 1-bath unit is located in the window-filled basement level of Denver Square house. The neighborhood is known for its convenient location, tree-lined streets, and proximity to Denver's best parks and activities. With a walk score of 92 and a bike score of 97, it is ideally located. A short distance to multiple local restaurants, coffee shops, a movie theater, ice cream parlors, gym, Sprouts, the Denver Zoo, Natural History museum, City Park and Cheesman Park, and much more! Denver's best shopping and indoor mall (Cherry Creek Mall) is 10 blocks away, and downtown Denver is a 5-10 minute drive. The Space The unit was fully renovated in 2023\. It is easily accessible with a digital keypad. We will send you the code prior to check-in so no need to coordinate your schedule with us or if you need a late check-in Layout: • Living room with Smart TV • Kitchen • Bathroom with walk-in shower • Bedroom 1 - Queen bed and desk • Bedroom 2 - Queen bed You'll have a private entrance and street parking. The unit is easily accessible with a digital keypad. The kitchenette has a full-sized fridge, sink, toaster oven, microwave, blender, cutting boards, coffee maker, complementary coffee and tea, electric kettle, utensils, and more. No oven! There are many nearby restaurants that deliver or are within a 5 block radius. The space is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, & families. If you are here for work, there is a desk in one of the bedrooms. Our internet is reliable and fast You'll have sole access to the entire apartment throughout your stay. There is a small patio table and 2 chairs during the summer. We reserve the backyard and front yard, however, for our family's use. Our home was built in 1904\. It has been fully renovated in 2023 and there is noise dampening between the floors. However, it is not perfect. However, if you need absolute silence, that isn't something that we can guarantee! Check-in time is after 3pm, while check out time is 11am. However, we are happy to be flexible when no one else is departing/arriving on the same day. \*Please Note: No pets, no parties, and no smoking is allowed in the home. This is not a party spot! Quiet hours are from 9PM - 7AM. Any noise violations or complaints from neighbors will be addressed immediately. We appreciate your courtesy. My friend and I visited for the weekend and found the location super great. We walked to the botanical gardens and were in easy walking distance of the bus (super easy to figure out), Tattered Cover Bookstore, and lots of eatery options. My friend is fully blind, and the layout of the flat was easy for her to navigate and find her way about — though we did have to move the mini bar set up to avoid bumping into it. There’s quite a bit of space to move around, and the rooms were great! Loved the brick. Access to the flat was super easy with the code, and while the stairs were a bit precarious with luggage, they were fine to navigate after that. If you’ve gone up and down twisty staircases in Europe, you’ll be fine. The flat was stocked with all the basics, though we didn’t really use anything. I was SO happy to see upright fans in each room as well as luggage racks. I did yoga a few mornings in the kitchen, so there is some nice space to move and stretch a bit. My only suggestion would be a box or two of Kleenex! And I found some big bugs about a few mornings, but it’s a basement flat, and I wasn’t too fussed. Just wanted to mention it. ##### Heidi H. Obviously a recent remodel and very nicely done. This place has a nice air to it. The walls are the original brick, and they've been painted white, which is beautiful. Nice job on the crown and base molding. Although this is described as a basement space, there are windows which are operable, so there is plenty of natural light and good air. Comfortable beds, plenty of blankets and towels. Cellular shades over the bedroom windows. The TV in the living room has Netflix, Prime, and HBO, and possibly other channels. Parking is on the street, and I had no problem finding a good spot essentially right in front of the property. Private entry and exit. I never saw the owner; the communications on how to get in where very clear. Right out the door and walk a few yards and you are on Colfax, which has lots of restaurants and bars to choose from on a walk, and also the Bluebird Theater is very close. I would definitely stay here again. There were occasionally some bumping, banging noises coming from the floor above, but I could only hear it when I was in the living room, and it was only for very short periods. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, once in the door there is a fairly steep set of stairs to come down. No problem at all, but if there is a disabled person in your party that can't handle a few steep steps, you might want to consider that.
