Good, inexpensive place

Posted 01-Jul-2017
Clean room. Very BIG room. Coffee in room. Cold refrigerator. Easy, friendly check-in and out. Great place for the $. I only needed a one night stay to sleep and shower. Great price! If you want 4-5 star place...look elsewhere and pay more. Great for college town prices and visitors not expecting/requiring 5 Star hotel.

Worse motel ever!

Posted 13-May-2017
Everything was nasty. Nothing clean. Service terrible. Bedspread was stained. Pillows were thin and lumpy. Floor was filthy. Bathroom was unclean. Door had huge crack in it and you could hear all outside noises. Sidewalk was full of dirt and grime.

Staff swore at 11 year old, demanded early check o

Posted 27-Apr-2017
Pros: It seemed clean
Cons: Place was run down with dangerous stairway roped off, treated guest as enemy, website said breakfast which was a lie
I put my daughter and her two children here one night. Check out wasat 11am, at 10¦15am someone started banging on the door demanding they leave so the room could be cleaned. When a man who claimed to be the maintenance man asked my 11 year old granddaughter to get her mom she said "wait a minute she's coming" and the man said to her "and you can tell her I'm not putting up with your smart mouth b****" They came into the room 15 minutes later and started cleaning with my family still rushing to get out. My daughter and her 5 year old and 11 year old sat outside in the cold rain for a half hour waiting for me to pick them up at checkout time. Breakfast was also non-existent.

It was so bad, I wish I had slept in the car.

Posted 20-Apr-2017 on Hotels
This may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and that's saying something, The first clue that this was not going to be pleasant was showing up at the check-in "window". They lock the lobby from 10pm to 6am. However, I arrived a bit after 9pm, and they were already conducting business behind bulletproof glass. The room looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1950s. Stains everywhere. I couldn't help but wonder, "how did whatever THAT is, end up on the ceiling?" All that was bearable. However, the ONE non-negotiable I have is, I HATE cold showers. Of the five nights I stayed there (why five? Well, EVERY other hotel was booked up in the area), I was without hot water two mornings. The first morning, even though I was up at 7.30am, I thought, with all of the events going on, perhaps everyone had already been up and showered, and use all of the hot water. That night (and the next two week-end mornings), there was hot water, so I was willing to forgive that one. Then, Monday morning, at 5.30 in the morning (I cannot believe that everyone had beat me to it), the hot water was out again. It was so bad, I wish I had slept in the car.

Overpriced hotel with unhelpful staff

Posted 15-Apr-2017 on Hotels
I don't require much when I stay in hotels, and this room had the basics (bed, TV, microwave, fridge). However, I have paid around the same price for MUCH nicer hotels with better service. There were a few dead crickets in the room, I could hear people walking around upstairs and outside basically all night, and when I called to ask for a few extra pillows, the man at the front desk said no and hung up. I will not be staying here again.

My wife and I refused to stay there. We got a refund and stayed with family. By far the worst rooms we've ever seen.
