We had a family emergency and needed a room for my daughter's mother-in-law to stay in for a couple of days. The pictures online seemed adequate. In arriving, we discovered that while we paid $60+, the walk-in rate was $49 (no refund of the difference)! In taking luggage to the room before returning to the hospital, we discovered a dirty room with peeling paint on the doors and walls, dingy unkept linen, and seriously dirty smell that they attempted to mask with heavy incense. We returned the key to the front desk. The desk clerk refused to return our money (paid through PayPal to Hotels.com. When we call (multiple times) Hotels.com for a refund, we are told by a recorded message to 'call back at a later time'!!!!
