"The little house is beautifully decorated and clean, with comfy beds, good quality tasteful furnishings, nice modern kitchen with everything you need. The only downside for us was the road alongside the property garden - a lovely courtyard, secure for the dogs but quite a lot of noise from passing idiots driving too fast or on awful noisy motorbikes. Didn’t spoil our stay but it is a shame, as the house is well located for fabulous walks and sightseeing but the road is a drawback. Otherwise...

"We had a very comfortable stay at this lovely property. It is absolutely immaculate and has everything you need and more. Great communication from the host Joseph who was very helpful and just a text or phone call away. The property is within close proximity to the supermarket, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops all being a 5 min walk. A great base to enjoy visiting the local area with a recommended walk up to Heptonstall. It’s quite steep in places but worth it for the great views and exploring...

"Overall it was okay but there is definitely room for improvement. The toilet seat was wobbly, the electric shower was either very hot or very cold but not in between and therefore it was dangerous and we had to use a plastic container from the kitchen to use the bath water. The bath bath couldn’t be used as the drain plug was inefficient and there was no handle to come out of the bath. There was only one tea towel, no coffee or milk, no kitchen paper. "I booked this property and paid direct to the property. I received confirmation of payment by email. I drove to the property expecting a code for the key box. I did not get one. I tried phoning the letting company, no response, email no response, what'sapp no response. I contracted Hotels.com who also pursued. no response. I have lost my money and had to find alternative accomodation at a higher cost. do NOT book to stay at this property. it is a scam "

"We stayed here last April (2023) and it was fine but the back garden was a disappointment and we andvised them of this issue. Unfortunately, even though the drain has been sorted the garden has gotten much worse and needs attention for little cost. Also the neighbours hang their washing over the fence which isn’t a very nice sight to see in a morning. The house itself is fine with everything you need. A long mirror somewhere downstairs would be helpful and a mirror in the first floor bathroom...
