Cozy, comfortable, clean and modern :)

The only minor difficulty we had was while we were trying to unlock the door via lockbox, however we soon learned we did it wrong, no fault of the owner. The space was snug, rather spacious, clean, and overall perfect for our stay.

This is a decent place to stay for the price. It was clean, but not pristine. The rental was decorated nicely and they have made effort to make it upscale. (Bidet, fancy sinks, nice appliances.) There are a few things that knock it down a star though: No lamps at all, just overhead lights. Linens and towels were clean, but had to be fished out of a pile in the laundry room and from the dryer. Access code was not actually text in the app, it was photoshop'd onto a picture within the details of the location. Wifi access as well. There's no place to sit and eat really, except for two very tall bar chairs that put your plate at the same level as your belt. No instructions given for checking out from the host, nor any kind of "welcome book" available. Parking was not protected in any way, and we often came back to find that the parking out front had just been taken up by random cars. There's some pots and pans, but it seems somewhat haphazard. BUT all this is kind of minor, and the place was clean enough, the rooms comfortable, and there's a TV in each room as well as the living area. A very good value.

Easy parking out front. There are three small sets of stairs so not wheelchair accessible but easy access for walking. The unit was perfect for our needs and the location is great and convenient to lots of restaurants and shops, as well as being a great jumping off point to visit all of the Vancouver metro area. We even took day trips to Squamish, Whistler, Capilano, and way up the Fraser River valley to Agazzi easily. The property is very well stocked with the essentials in the kitchen and linens. The two bedrooms are nice sized and separated by the main bathroom to give some privacy. The host is incredibly gracious and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable right away.

The home is beautiful and in a good area. They live in the upper portion of the property. The area we had you walk across the front follow the path to the right side of the house then go down the stairs. The email with information was not received so the code for the door was wrong. Also face towels will need to be brought for this stay. They are very quick to respond to phone calls and very pleasant to talk with.

The check-in information was wrong (door code). The picture with instruction is not zoomable and yellow text on the pictures was hard read. The parking instruction (orientation of the car) was confusing (perpendicular in the photo instruction and parallel on the sign on the fence). The living room, bed rooms, and bathroom were not as clean as expected by the advertised pictures.

Extremely disappointed. There were no clean towels, hair all over the floor, old milk left in the fridge, and the tub hadn’t been cleaned. The door to the upper unit was found unlocked, and the door code was changed on the second day without notice to us. Communication with the host was infrequent and frustrating, when we gave him the feedback he was curt and did not offer any apologies or discounts.

Check in procedure was unclear. No prior communication on which entrance location was for this booking. The code provided was inaccurate. Overall the property was in disarray. The questionable electrical setup outside makes you wonder what was going on behind the walls in the recent renovation. Early in the morning, our exterior door was opened by the owner without knocking or prior notice (apparently to change the battery on the electronic door lock). Surely this unsettling behaviour could have been completed during regular changeover.
