We really enjoyed our stay in this rustic cabin. The view is spectacular and at night the stars are amazing. The mattress is comfortable and bedding is nice. However, I was not prepared to have to walk 50 yards to the bathroom. The description says 1bedroom/1bath it just doesn’t say where the bath is located. There is also no running water in the cabin. All in all we would have probably still stayed here but it would have been nice to be better prepared.
The view is spectacular. The salt basin dunes were just 4 miles away. Driving the desert road to the cabin i saw many birds i would not have in a city. The changes in weather allowed me to see mountains in many different ways. I enjoyed the view every morning before heading out to Guadeloupe Mountains and every night before bed.
Unfortuately it was pretty hot while there.(mid june) So the walk to and from the shower/toilet was really hot, and the water was pretty hot (which might be nice in the winter). But the cabin A/C kept me cool at night.
