Retreat to a quiet, light-filled living space... relax in 3 levels of coastal living with a patio or balcony on every level... and wind down with a full view of the California sunset. Best part? Leave your private main suite sliding door slightly open and fall asleep to the sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Life doesn't get better than this! This is a completely updated, beautifully furnished, impeccably maintained 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath townhouse with an attached garage. No one above or below you. The upper primary suite encompasses the entire top level (master suite is approximately 600 sq. ft... a comparable Del Mar/La Jolla resort suite room is generally triple the price). The main suite is furnished with a beautiful King bed, premium hotel quality mattress topper, and down duvet. Adjacent sitting area is furnished with an 86" European inspired sofa, contemporary glass top coffee table, fireplace, 50-inch app based UHD-TV with basic cable included and wireless connection so guests can log in to their personal streaming service (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc). Topping it all off is a private master suite balcony with breathtaking views of the ocean and the majestic Torrey Pines Reserve. Master suite also includes a contemporary double-sink vanity with cameo tilting mirrors, floor to ceiling mosaic tiles made from recycled glass in Northern California, deluxe doorless walk-in shower, and a spacious custom walk-in closet. The second room is a junior suite and sits on the lower level. It is also wonderfully furnished with a luxury King bed, hotel quality mattress topper, down duvet, and a sitting area with an oversized chaise. The junior suite is also equipped with a double-sink vanity, shower framed by ocean-inspired turquoise subway glass tile with a Kohler curved tub, spacious walk-in closet and sliding door access to the lower-level patio. The lower level also includes the 3rd bedroom, just around the corner from the junior suite, furnished with a twin-over-full bunkbed plus a twin pull-out trundle below. This room comes with a mirrored closet and sliding door access to the lower patio. Separating the upper and lower bedroom levels is the mid-level main living space. The open floor plan will greet you as soon as you step in from the attached 2 car garage... or the French double door entry from the driveway. Welcoming you first is a sky-lit "sand-room" (we don't have mudrooms in Southern California... this is where you kick off your flip flops and de-sand your feet). The sand-room offers an area to hang up your sun hats, beach towels and a light jacket (which you might need with the nighttime cool coastal breeze). From there, you'll step into the galley kitchen offering gas stove-top, electric oven, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, microwave hood, coffee machine, French press, toaster, glassware, stemware, utensils and plates (service for 8). There is also a supply of plastic ware for our much younger guests. From the kitchen, you'll walk into a coastal inspired custom-designed dining area with a built-in banquette along a sparkling white shiplap wall, a 72-inch pecan wood dining table custom-made by a local San Diego artist. Add in 4 white industrial galvanized steel stools and hand-crafted/Minnesota made pendant lights overhead, it is urban chic meets casual coastal. Across from the dining area is a spacious family room, with beautiful red oak flooring throughout. On cooler nights, you can enjoy the newly updated, environmentally friendly electric faux fireplace with a reclaimed wood mantel by Vintage Timberworks in Temecula. Over the fireplace is a 55-inch UHD TV with basic cable and wireless capability for guests to enjoy music from their own Pandora playlists. The family room is furnished with an oversized 130"x80" sectional and a matching ottoman/coffee table, all made in North Carolina. Surrounding the ottoman are 2 signature swivel Crest chairs from Room and Board, also made in North Carolina. We carefully designed the seating area in the family room for relaxation, conversation and even some rounds of old fashioned board games. Rounding out the mid-level living space is another balcony with a partial view of the ocean and Torrey Pines State Reserve. You'll also find an updated powder room with limestone inspired Italian porcelain tile flooring. Just outside the powder room is the wood staircase leading up to the master suite retreat or down to both the junior suite and the 3rd bedroom. Another full bathroom with shower sits just outside the bunkbed room. Overall, our Del Mar Beach Getaway offers comfortable accommodations for up to 6 people. There's a washer/dryer for use during your stay, along with boogie boards, Coolers, beach toys, beach umbrella and a wagon for your beach outings! Please just return them when you're done with your day at the beach. If you would like to stock up before arriving, we suggest dropping by Costco to load up for the week. We also have a wireless printer that guests are welcome to use in case you need to conduct business or print out boarding passes. Within a 5 minute walk from the townhouse complex are several quintessential Southern California restaurants... Roberto's Mexican Food for some mouthwatering carne asada tacos or burritos; Bird Rock Coffee Roaster to start your day; Buonasera New York Pizzeria offers pizza by the slice; West End Bar & Kitchen offering contemporary American cuisine; Sea Salt serves a fabulous happy hour and upscale seafood dishes; The Goat Sports Hall has plenty of pub food and 13 TVs for sports enthusiasts. If you'd like to venture beyond these walking distance restaurants, within a few minutes by car, you'll be in downtown Del Mar with a wonderful selection of highly rated ocean view restaurants. You'll find everything from upscale shopping to take-out pizza and gourmet sandwich shops. Also within a 5 minute drive is the Del Mar Heights neighborhood where locals go for their grocery stores, drug stores, coffee and ice cream shops and additional dining options. Its in an incredible location and the owner even provided a pass to Torrey Pines State Park. The house is beautifully furnished. It comes with access to the two car garage for direct and easy entry into the house. We will definitely be back to stay again. For those traveling with elderly there are stairs to get to the bedrooms. It was not an issue for my elderly parents that stayed with us. ##### Ellen S. It was beyond our expectations. So beautifully decorated, so inviting, so strategically located... we were totally able to wind down and relax from day one. And Tracy was an awesome host, very responsive. There were some missing items from the description on the VRBO page, but he promptly ordered them online and they were delivered to our door step shortly after. He even sent our kids some beach gifts as a substitute to the sparkling wine (much appreciated, and again, beyond our expectations). All beds were extremely comfortable (it's always a shock to me when the beds away from home are actually more comfortable than my own!) We have a 14 year old teenager and the full second bedroom with its own bathroom and TV was very well suited for his owl-like habits :-). Our 9 year old daughter loved her bunk bed, alternating from bottom to top every other day :-) My wife particularly enjoyed the private Sea Point park and found it to be quite beautiful. As for me, the peaceful mornings sipping coffee while watching the ocean view is what I'll miss the most. This home is also conveniently located within walking distance to Torrey Pines State Beach. As if that was not enough, there is the impressive Torrey Pines extension park 5 minute walk from there (we took two sunset walks during our stay, what a great way to end the day). We already miss this place and will surely return if we're ever in the area again. The property has a park complete with playground and tennis courts that our kids loved when we weren’t at the beach. Would Definitely Stay at this Property Again! My husband, our twins, our newborn, and I stayed for 7 days during the first week of April. Weather was in the high 60s and sunny most of the week. The property was immaculate, bright, and welcoming. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of kitchen wares so we could stay in and cook meals instead of eating out every day. The bedding in all of the bedrooms was very high quality and we all got a restful sleep each night. The views of the ocean from the master bedroom were beautiful. Our daughters played at the pool and had a blast, despite the hot tub being closed due to Covid restrictions. There was a wagon, beach toys, a beach blanket, umbrella, and beach tent available to use at the beach. The walk down to the sand took about 8-10 mins. Walking back to the property from the beach is a bit of a booty burn but we enjoyed it! We also walked south along Torrey Pines Beach all the way to Flat Rock with our 7-year old daughters... such a beautiful walk. Pretty much everywhere you go in Del Mar is beautiful. Also, Tracy was so accommodating and made himself available anytime we had questions or needed anything at all. My husband and I decided we will definitely be back to stay at this property again next time we head to Del Mar... one of our favorite places in California. The home is well-stocked with many amenities: towels, beach towels, fans, kitchen essentials, beach chairs (4), boogie boards with leashes (4), wagon, tennis rackets (4), outdoor bbq and much more. We received great service and communication throughout the trip. We tried many local restaurants. Bird Rock Roasters, Roberto’s Mexican, Rendevous Del Mar for Chinese, Pacific Coast Grille located right on the water, and amazing NY Pizza at Bongiorno’s. We also went jet skiing at SD Bay Adventures which was a blast by the Coronado Bay, and we played Mini-golf at Pelly’s which was by far the nicest mini golf facility we have ever visited - it is also a driving range. Masks are required everywhere in SD County and many places of business don’t take cash and are contactless. Everyone is doing a good job to keep things safe due to Covid. We also visited Cedros District which was a fabulous area for home furnishings and accessories. Also, One Paseo was another great outdoor area for food and shopping including a gelato and ice creamery. All in all, the townhome is perfectly located, appointed, and is a hidden gem. ##### Stephanie S.
