Great stay!
The views from the decks were better than I could’ve imagined. Lots of space and the pool table always a big plus for our group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return here! Jessica was very quick to respond my questions.
We stayed a long weekend for App State graduation. Perfect for family with lots of activities and space for everyone. Very clean and ample kitchen supplies for all meals. Loved all the deck space and multiple tables throughout the home.
The house was beautiful! It had great views of the mountains. The game room was a big hit with our family due to the storm that came through and we were unable to go outside. We had to cut our stay short due to not having power from the storm. The owner, Suzanne, was very attentive and wonderful to work with. We will definitely rent this property again!
The house was very nice and cozy. When we arrived the hot tub was uncovered and the water was very low. We ended up adding water to it and putting the cover back on in order to use it but after everything we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is really spacious and had plenty of room with comfortable beds.
This was an amazing property and it was so easy to get in touch when we had an issue with the upstairs ac unit. Evidently the people who stayed before us left it on 65 and it froze up. They had someone out the next morning to fix it. The house has plenty of room and gorgeous views. We are thinking of going back in December.
The cabin was in a perfect spot and had a good view of the sunset from the back deck. The game room was by far my favorite area and my daughter felt like she had her own apartment for a week. My only complaint is that the hot tub had a weird smell and the curtain rod above the door closest to the hot tub was loose and it kept getting stuck on the top of the door and I had to take it down. The oven seemed a little dangerous since I daughter bumped it while we put groceries in the refrigerator and the burner turned on, and my son ran threw the kitchen and also bumped the stove and the gas turned on until we smelled it and turned it off and opened the windows for a while. Overall, I'd love to stay again during the fall or winter!

Rented this place for family vacation. The view from the deck was gorgeous. There was plenty of room for all of us. It is located in the mountains, closest grocery store took us 20-25 minutes around windy roads. Place was not suitable for young children. There is no yard for playing, the pool was 4ft at the shallow end, and the playground wasn’t kept up. I would not recommend for a family with young children, however, I felt it would be great for adults
Great Trip Volunteering for WNC & Celebrating Son’s 18th Birthday!
We were looking for lodging, to celebrate our son’s 18th bday, as well as bring donations & volunteer some time to WNC, following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. We also wanted the location close to ski slopes, that offered plenty to do for teens, while at the cabin, that was also dog-friendly. This property offered everything we were looking for & more!
The cabin was beautiful & worked out great for us! It gave the teens plenty to do, w/ a game room filled w/ a pool table, dart board, air hockey, dual basketball game, arcade game, comfy couch w/ big tv & streaming to watch movies, plus, board games, a chess table upstairs, & hot tub! The kids could chill in the game room while at the cabin, while my husband & I could enjoy some much needed & cozy down time, in the main living room upstairs, watching our own shows!
It also allowed us a good stopping point & location, that was much closer than our house outside Ft. Bragg, where my husband is stationed in the Army, vs where we delivered donations to, in Rutherfordton, NC, and spent time volunteering for the WNC area; yet, still kept us just over a 1/2hr to Appalachian Ski Slope, where we took the kids skiing, snowboarding, & ice skating!
It also allowed our pups to come with us, w/ a nominal pet fee, which was super helpful to us, so that we could bring our fur babies w/ us, especially since one recently became blind. Plus, we were able to save some money on a pet sitter! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Happy Holidays!
It was almost perfect. Communication with the owners was extremely quick. The cabin had all of the amenities that we were seeking. We did an old-fashioned family Christmas and it couldn’t have been any more like a Hallmark movie! The owners even had a real Christmas tree put up when we arrived, plus other beautiful decorations throughout the cabin.
The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever had in a rental (and we travel a lot). I wanted to cook all of our meals this trip and was nervous about not having everything needed but there was more than we could even use! The crockpot is a large one so I was able to do our favorite pot roast recipe. The fridge was spacious. There were plenty of dishwasher pods, trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc….
The fireplace in the master bedroom was beautiful and romantic. A nice place for “GiGi and Papi” to relax at night after a long day with the kiddos.
The beds were all comfy… the comforters were cozy and warm.
The entire cabin was clean. I didn’t see any bugs our entire trip…. Not sure why a couple of the reviews had a problem with them… maybe in summer?
The only negative thing I can think of is the bathrooms are small. Plus, If I book this place again I will bring a shower caddy to hold my shampoo and stuff.
Overall, if we return to this area, we would be happy to stay again. Thank you for a place to make beautiful memories with our family. Our oldest son even proposed to his fiancé on Christmas Eve… ❤️
This house was great for our family of 7. Plenty of space and the basement game room was really great. We enjoyed the propane fireplace on the deck in the evenings. A few questions/things came up and the owner was easy to communicate with.
It was a great place to stay. Meant a lot for our family to get together to celebrate thanksgiving.Only con that comes to mind is the trash situation, very much an inconvenience. As for the cabin itself it was very nice.
Our family (8 adults) spent the weekend in the mountains and loved this cabin! Beautiful setting and so cozy. Great space for everyone! We enjoyed walking and exploring some of the trails. Kitchen was great for cooking and lots of space for family time. Ended the weekend with a visit to a Christmas tree farm. Would love to stay again!

Cool place, needs a few things adjusted going forward. Ne prepqred for deer in the neighborhood while driving.
The place was better than advertised. We all had a wonderful time. Plenty of space. Deer visiting in the back yard. And the sound of a coyote pack echoing through the valley. It was awesome.
The views from this cabin are amazing - from bedrooms and porches. The hot tub was great and we all got a lot of use out of it. The game area needs a little attention - there was only one actual dart and the arcade game didn’t work. We did enjoy the pool table. The biggest issue I had was advertising four king size beds - two of these were twin mattresses pushed together without the use of a connector, mattress topper and king size fitted sheet. I think these little changes even with the twin mattresses would make a big difference. Especially since these beds are in the bedrooms with connecting bathrooms so likely the ones utilized by adults as master baths. Overall a good property but could use a few small changes.
The pictures online do not do this house justice.. The view is fantastic. Nice community pool. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating yet still allowing plenty of space. The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated. The game room was large and perfect for a night of entertainment. I had a few questions for the “contact “ person Suzanne who responded to my questions immediately. We had a great time.
