"Tessa was so great to work with! We planned a father/daughter group trip to the island and everything went great. Our stay was beautiful and views of the lake were awesome. The house had everything we needed and the sleeping arrangements gave each family some privacy. We would definitely stay here again!"

Charming Lakeside 2-bedroom log cabin on Caribou Lake, De Tour Village Michigan

10/10 Excellent
"A few miles West of De Tour, MI on the shore of serene Caribou Lake, this waterfront cottage was so lovely. The entire property is nature-beautiful, quiet and private. I believe the cottage's core is vintage; log cabin-based If so, it was obviously just restored with pride, care and attention to style and modern comfort details-- newly renovated to a ready-for-HGTV functionality, comfort and overall prettiness. Even internet and 3 streaming TV's that all were glitch-free. I also have to believe that this was it's first summer open to guests, ALL things looked so new! The "extras" that came with the cottage with the cottage also were perfect (and new), like the dock, fully-equipped kitchen and bath, games and other R&R supplies, romantic lighting, comfy beds and furniture, rugs, carpets. Roomy too. It somehow it seems bigger on the inside than from the outside. Outdoor space is large and enticing (flat space out front for yard games; chairs, fire pit with wood etc. in the back overlooking the dock and lake). The views were terrific, lake-side. I wish owned a boat, the state launch is less than a mile away. The U.P. cottage is outfitted to keep people nice warmly cozy, but that wasn't required our week. There were fans, but no a/c, and we had warm days & nights. Most of the windows don't open, so the fans were a must for sleeping (& napping). De Tour Village is nice enough, but it's main perk is it serves as the Ferry to Drummond Island, a jewel of Michigan."

Chic Townhome on Lake Huron w/ Private Beach!

Chic Townhome on Lake Huron w/ Private Beach!

10/10 Excellent
"The location is awesome, the sandy beach was wonderful and we spent a lot of time there. The house is basically clean, it needs a little deep cleaning, especially ceiling fans, oven and the corners. The showers were a little low for most of us, the glass block entry to the one shower needs to be revised, it's a bit difficult to step into. We liked the ping pong, had lots of fun out in the garage playing. It was quite warm while we were there, I really missed having air conditioning! It did cool down nice at night thankfully. All in all, it is a great place, I would recommend it, just wanted to point out what we felt could use some attention."
