This was my second visit to this accommodation and it was just as good as the first. The chalet has everything you could need for a self-catering facility. Clean, with also plenty of good quality towels. There is also plenty of parking space. As this was a summer stay, there were plenty of families with children and dogs. There are no facilities for children to play on so you do need to entertain them. Even with small children and dogs, the chalet park was very quiet and everyone very friendly. There are supermarkets nearby and Dartmouth is very close and beautiful, well with a visit. I always prefer self catering to hotels and the price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely come to this chalet again and again and highly recommend it. One thing might be worthwhile to mention, I came during a heatwave so the chalet was extremely hot inside as you would expect. A fan would have been a lovely addition. The lack of that does not preclude me from visiting again.

Clean comfortable chalet. I spent three nights there solo over christmas. Heaters are efficient and the shower is excellent.collect lots of £1 coins before your stay to feed the meter

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Sheena’s Chalet & have already recommended to family members. The chalet was modern, clean a proper home from home with everything you could need & is in an ideal location. Extra thought has been taken in insuring guests get a good nights sleep with good quality mattresses & pillows.

Has potential, needs simpler set-up

Not happy with coin fed electricity meter, also numerous heaters not always efficient or warming. A really big issue was no wi-fi, essential when no on site representatives. Numerous notes and instructions, heating, house and water need to be simplified.

The place is surface level clean but if you end up having to move furniture e.g because you drop something behind the bedside table, it’s quite dirty. That’s just one example, inside the cleaning cupboard, if you need a broom for example, again, dirty. The electric meter cost way more than the estimates provided. Please note that we stayed in the cold month of December. We never really got it toasty warm like with central heating. The electric meter had a momentary blip where it would keep rejecting coins despite using it fine the evening before. We appreciate this isn’t an issue the owners have experienced before but just highlighting it did happen to us. The shower was weak & took a while to get used to. Again, the owners say they haven’t experienced problems reported before but we’re highlight that, for us, it wasn’t an easy “turn it on & you’re away” like our home shower. It’s temperamental. In trying to get it warm enough. It’s tired & things like door frames could do with a lick of paint and there’s splatter marks in the main bedroom. Light switches aren’t where you would intuitively reach for them, like in the second bedroom. And the decor and furniture is poor. My husband and I can pick things up pretty quickly but we just found the who found the whole thing a faff. If you’re on a very tight budget and have the time to read & learn everything- it’ll probably be fine. But we’ll never return. On a plus, the bed was comfy & the kids enjoyed the bunk beds.
