Beautiful hotel in a great location

Lovely hotel with pool, bar & restaurant. Standard rooms with two queens are comfy & suitable, but not massive, so don’t expect extra space. Decor is clean and pleasant & well maintained but I wouldn’t say it’s very modern. The pool area with sun beds is lovely. The hotel have plenty of beach towels which you can also borrow for your day at the beach. If you book including breakfast you get a voucher which entitles each guest to 1 drink and 1 breakfast entree. Any extras you pay for. ...

Reviews are correct, this place is exceptionally clean and in a very good location and easy to drive into Charleston for a visit. The rooms are super clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower could do with some pressure but it's a great hotel and I highly recommend. Parking was plenty and very secure. Mount Pleasant seems to be a very safe area.

This should have a higher score than 4 It is a bit dated - but having said that everything is spotlessly clean and functional Our room was fantastic with a settee to relax Big shower area The bed was very very good... Really pleased with our stay at Staybridge. Had not realised breakfast was included, so that was a bonus! And the breakfast offering was lovely, plenty of it, plenty of choice, well presented.... Staff were all helpful, friendly and efficient, rooms and everywhere spotlessly clean, new towels every day. Facilities? My room was very quiet at night with no road noise. It was clean, but a bit old re. paintwork etc. The fridge had no control button and so the items froze a couple of times! Breakfast was good, with nice eggs, but it was a shame it finished at 9.00am on weekdays - sometimes people like to lie-in on their holiday!
