"We had a lovely stay at Casa Carazon after spending two weeks in the Belizean rainforest. This is a private peaceful setting for soaking up the Caribbean sea and sun! The house is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, taking a dip in the pool and sea kayaking. In the evening we had scrabble contexts. A store is merely 10 minutes away for restocking or picking up anything you might have forgotten. The caretakers were attentive and gracious....

"Whats not to like? The sand beach is right out the door and the beach goes out what seems like forever. A great home base to explore out of. Hiking at Mayflower Bocawina National Park to the waterfalls is not to be missed. Had a manatee surface kayaking the mangroves just to the north. A well appointed kitchen and great resturants nearby (dont miss Ella's and Maxim and Luba Laruga). A most responsive host for sure! All in all a wonderful stay!"

The cabanas were clean and comfortable with everything we needed, The property manager attentive to our needs and request. Just happened to be there for the Mango Festival, oh what fun! "It was easy to reserve this house in Hopkins in mid-July and we drove straight to it thanks to thorough directions from the house manager because there is no house number. The house manager lives nearby and she communicated regularly and was very accessible. Although the roof has a great view of the town of Hopkins, there is no roof awning or umbrella to protect one from the sun so it is a sun bathing experience!"

"Very nice house. Water was pretty shallow off shore, nice for getting cooled off. Had a couple of problems, toilet im master was clogged when we got there, but was taken care of pretty quickly. Frig decided to quit working midway thru stay, but was replace as soon as was possible since it was between xmas and new year. It was not a major problem for us except not being able to keep our beer cold. A couple of coolers and a few bags of ice got us thru."

I loved that they also provided sunscreen, bug spray, water and laundry detergent. The property managers were so helpful and came 2x during our stay to see if we needed anything. This property is very remote and extremely quiet! I would highly recommend having a rental vehicle. Publics is the closest, cleanest, best place to shop and is 20 mins south.
