We recently stayed at X’tan Ha and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their hospitality was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
The rooms were clean, although they are somewhat dated and could use some updating. We also had a few visits from ants and termites in our room during our stay.
The food was mediocre—not bad, but not particularly memorable. However, if you’re looking for peace, quiet, seclusion, and beautiful beach views, X’tan Ha delivers. The property offers a relaxing atmosphere away from the crowds.
One thing to keep in mind is that it’s about a 40-minute bumpy golf cart ride to most restaurants, shops, and activities in town. For some travelers, the remote location will be a major plus; for others, it may be less convenient.
Overall, if your priority is tranquility, beachfront scenery, and friendly service, X’tan Ha is worth considering.
