The place was not ready for us to stay in as there was trash, rotten food in the fridge, wet towels in the washer, and unmade bed. I tried to get in contact with the host and she was unresponsive. A cleaning lady came and offered to clean the room and apologized about the lateness and actually did more to resolve the issues with our situation than the actual host. We were told management was overbooked because of txou weekend and they forgot to clean our room because they didn’t realize it was a same day check in. I find this really hard to believe considering I was in contact with the host and let her know about our arrival time the day we were coming. When I finally got in contact with the host she wasn’t really apologetic and I had to tell her she needed to make it right, she wasn’t offering a solution. The rest of the stay was okay after that, I’m just incredibly disappointed with how the host handled the situation and how poorly management was.
