We had a great stay at the Kimpton. The room was a good size and clean. The hotel is well maintained and staff is helpful. While the hotel is located in a good area, walking distance to stores, restaurants and public transport it is a noisy area. There are a couple bars next door that go on all night and can be heard. If you use your ear plugs, you should be more than fine. If you want quiet at night, look elsewhere.

The hotel is situated need Deep Ellum, walking distance from lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel is loud because of that, including the pool. The hospitality was lacking, although they finally made up for the late check in and incorrect room description. They made up for it only because it was asked for not offered. The rooms are nice though!

Everyone was so helpful and nice at the hotel!! My favorite thing was the soaker tub! It was like being in a spa!! The location was great, I was able to walk to restaurants and if I wanted to stay in the hotel, they had an amazing food selection in-house!!
