Hotels near Dalhousie Station, Calgary

"Unfortunately I was given a handicapped room and had issue managing the showers and other equipment. I'm sure the room would be great for someone that would have special needs, but I felt a bit lost. We were extremely tired and hoped the air heater would function. But no, I couldn't sleep as the very loud system wasn't heating anything. It was already 2:30 in the morning and I had to be up at 4, so getting up and waiting for help wasn't really a realistic expectation. I tried managing the 2 shower system and finally got some hot water for a shower. I honestly should have saved $240 and stayed in my truck instead. I was told that management was going to contact me , but no one did."

"Hotel exterior needs work and inside room the telephone wasn’t working and the shower bath gel had run out. "

"Staff went beyond with helping us. We appreciated their quick response to our request. The hotel is centrally located and we walked to shops and restaurants."

"Good - We were travelling with our two dogs and the staff were great about it. They brought us dog beds, food and water dishes, and poop bags to our room when we checked in. The room was spacious and comfortable. Not so good - We requested early check in when we booked but they were not able to accommodate the time we requested on the day we arrived, which put us in limbo for a few hours. The parking situation is chaotic and very tight. You are supposed to pull in to a loading zone in front of the hotel and have their valet park for you but it took us four passes around the block to find a space. There were no other options for parking, not even pay to park lots in the area due to construction blocking access to the one across the street mentioned in other reviews. In the bathroom there was low water pressure which made showering a little difficult."
