### By & By- 2 Bed1 Bath with Hot Tub, Dog Friendly

This charming two bed, one bath cabin is nestled on a hilltop just outside Dahlonega. Our dog-friendly (pet fee applies\*), comfortable home is an absolutely perfect location only two miles from the Dahlonega Square and half a mile from Accent Cellars, a five-star micro-winery.  
  
This quaint cabin features a queen bed on the main floor with a twin trundle and a king bed upstairs in the loft bedroom. The main floor also features a laundry room and a living and dining area with a gas fireplace and a 65-inch smart TV.  
  
Outside the cabin guests will enjoy the oversized deck which features a grill and brand-new hot tub. There is a small dog pen off the side of the deck where your dogs can hang out with you while you enjoy the outdoors and some s\`mores at the fire pit.  
  
Make sure to take a trip into Dahlonega, famous for its Historic Square (2 miles away), wineries, wedding venues, and waterfalls.  
  
Same-day bookers: Do not book for the current night without confirming the unit is available and ready for check-in.  
Long stays: If your stay is longer than 10 days, extra fees may apply. Please inquire before booking.  
  
Property Notes:  
\- The loft bedroom is set back in the loft enough to have privacy, but it does not have a door or a full wall.  
\- There is no bathroom in the loft bedroom. The only bathroom is on the main floor.  
\- Extra sleeping options include the twin trundle bed in the main floor bedroom and the couch in the living area. The couch is not a sleeper sofa.  
\- There are two outbuildings on the property used for storage that guests do not have access to.  
\- Guests can expect internet download speeds around 30 Mbps.  
  
Important things to know:  
• Dogs are allowed with our pet fee of $70 plus tax for the first dog, and $70 plus tax for each additional dog. If you\`ve added dogs to your reservation, one pet fee will be included and we will manually charge for additional dogs after booking.  
• This property does not require a damage deposit, but we do offer a damage protection policy. More info can be found at the end of the listing description.  
• We provide 5 trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels, bar soap, hand soap, toilet paper, and plenty of towels and linens.   
• We have firewood available on-site to purchase for $10 per bundle (including tax). Please message us if you are interested.  
• The gas to the fireplace is turned off from May 1 to October 1.  
• We have a Blackstone flat-top propane grill, and we provide propane.  
• Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. Early check-ins are possible, but subject to availability and a $20 per hour fee, rounded to the nearest hour. Late checkouts are generally not available, but if we are able to make an exception, the fee is $20 per hour.  
• The address will be sent to you at the time of your booking, and your check-in information will be sent to you two days out from your stay.  
• This listing uses a dynamic pricing algorithm; prices are updated daily.  
  
Although we have a strict cancellation policy, we offer travelers insurance and damage protection policies through Generali Global Assistance if you are worried you may have to cancel your trip for any reason or would like peace of mind regarding accidental damage. Note: These insurance options are sent manually after booking if requested by message and are not included in the booking total.

Up to two dogs are allowed without approval, but more than two dogs require approval. If it is found that guests brought a pet/pets without disclosing them, the guest will be subject to a $150 fee on top of the pet fees for the number of pets brought.  
  
Guests causing excessive noise or disturbances, including, but not limited to, underage drinking, partying, drug use, and exceeding max occupancy, will be asked to check out immediately and full stay rent charge will be due including deposit amount with NO REFUNDS.  
  
Guests who leave the place excessively dirty will be subject to additional cleaning fee. Examples of excessively dirty are stains on the floors and walls, pots and pans left unwashed in the sink, and trash left on the floor and outside.  
  
Any guest that checks in early without written permission may result in a $50 per hour fee.  
  
Any checkout after 10:00 am without written permission may result in a $50 fee.   
  
Any checkout more than 2 hours after check out will result in a fee for the entire daily rate, without any discounts, and guests will still not have rights to the property.  
  
Any guests checking out late that cause us to refund the next guests are subject to reimburse us for that amount, on top of the fees previously stated.  
  
If any house keys are lost or not returned at checkout, a minimum fee of $100 per missing item will apply, depending on the unit and type of item lost.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The only issue with us is our age. I am 78\. My husband is 86\. The bathroom is on first door and our bedroom was in the loft so had to go downstairs at night to use facility. That was my fault for not paying closer attention when I signed up. Our first booking with vrbo. Learned a few things.

This place is not worth the money. Very run down, tons of cobwebs and an overall look of neglect. The Blackstone grill has about an inch of rust. I have pics if need be. I’m disgusted that I spent all that money on a shack like that. We have been renting cabins in North Georgia for 30 years most time at least 3-4 times per year. We have never stayed in such a run down cabin.

We enjoyed the hot tub, the kitchen was clean and tidy, as was the rest of the property. The rooms were nicely decorated and cozy. We enjoyed relaxing, hiking and going to the Square. The only concern we had was carpenter ants. Saw lots of ant hills around perimeter of home and killed at least 7 in the home. They were all over patio, we also saw fire ants around there. We live in GA. We know it’s hard to deal with them. Especially in a wooded area. We’ve had to get pest control for the fire ants in the past. We get it!
