Hotel was in a quiet area. We walked to the central areas. Hotel is clean. Family that own the hotel are very helpful and a great resource about the area. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend.

Great hotel to stay in while in DaLat. Was raining and cold while here from a tropical storm. Our room was warm and lovely warm comforter. The family that own the hotel are very helpful. We really appreciate everything, from umbrellas, directions, what to ask for to get a big cup of coffee. Especially the home made cup cake! Dalat is wonderful city with wonderful people, will be back!

Great English speaking family run homestay in DaLat. Very helpful with taxi as needed directions & food recommendations. Walking distance is short to city center and Big C. Plenty of eateries nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay; the family who run the hotel are so nice and friendly! The room was nice and comfortable with a view over Dalat and the location was perfect; we just walked everywhere. Had such a nice time!

Lovely Stay
Hotel is comfortable but what really makes this place is how helpful and friendly the couple who run it are. It's not in the centre but we were able to easily walk everywhere without a problem. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful property! Magnificent views from my room. Comfortable bed and extremely clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. A little walk to find restaurants, but worth the exploring. Coffee houses really close.

Nice and simply stay.
Our stay here is very nice. The owners, Viet and Tien are helpful and friendly. The location is not far from the center and can see the wide view. We can walk and explore the town comfortably.

The room was basic but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located in a residential area, so the noise level was low. It's a family-run hotel and owners were super nice and helpful. The nearest tourist attraction is the Crazy House (10 mins on foot) and other sites are also 5-10 mins away by taxi. We just wanted a simple and clean lodging in Dalat, so the hotel was a perfect choice. One suggestion to the hotel is to install a shower booth or curtain, to keep the rest of the toilet dry.

Great hotel with amazing staff and comfy beds
In our month long tour throughout Vietnam this was definitely my favourite hotel! The family who is running it very kind and helpful and their daughter is just adorable. All of them speak English well and were very receptive and welcoming when we arrived, and helped us to get a bus when we moved on to Mui Ne for a good price. The room we were in had a window in the corridor to let in air, complete with a mini fridge and TV with some English channels. There is no A/C but Da Lat is cooler than he coast and there is a fan which was all we found we needed. The hotel was already nice but they seem to be upgrading it constantly - they were installing brand new stainless shower heads when we were there and there was good hot water. The beds were SO comfortable! The most comfortable beds I had slept in in over a month which was very nice. I read that I would have to walk far for food, this was not true. Very close to delicious coffee, great local soups and rice, and even a pizza shop! Also very close to the Crazy House which is a must see. Very little noise at night and morning as it is not so close to the main roads. Thank you to the family for making our stay enjoyable and I would for sure stay here if ever in Da Lat again!

What an incredibly lovely hotel!
Words really can't even cover how much I enjoyed my stay at the Hai Long Vuong Hotel. I've never felt more at home or more welcomed by a family in my life, let alone in a hotel. Room was spotless with an incredible view of the city. Bed was one of the most comfortable we've had in a month of Vietnam travel. Working fridge, fans and lights. But all the comfort and beauty aside, the real reason this is the absolute best hotel in Da Lat is the family who runs it. They literally threw us a surprise birthday party for my Boyfriend when they saw the date on his passport. Family style dinner with all of the hotel guests, custom cake and all. Such incredible, generous, and lovely people running a smooth and clean operation. Cannot say enough good things, I consider these folks to be like family at this point and our stay in Da Lat is undeniably the highlight of our trip.

A bit far away but lovely owners makes up for it
While this hotel is away from the main drag, that's what makes it so nice! You get an authentic taste of Da Lat (favourite city in Vietnam). The owners are lovely, helpful, kind. They waited up patiently for our late check-in, and even offered to make us instant noodles. The room was basic but matched the price we paid. The kettle was useful for morning coffee and the shower was nice and hot. The second best part (after the staff) was the rooftop terrace, where I said goodnight to the sun as it set behind the mountains. Stunning!

Great hotel, make sure to note location
We spent four nights in a double room at the Hai Long Vuong in March 2018. The family that runs it is wonderful, very helpful, and their daughters are cute and talkative! They helped us book a tour. The room was a good size and had a kettle, clean towels and great a/c. There is a free pool table in the basement and an awesome view from the rooftop seating area! If you want to walk everywhere, this location is not ideal for you. We had some touble finding fod nearby. That said, they have free bikes for you to use (no helmets) and there is one barbeque buffet place down the street (down the hil) that is super fun and tasty for 99,00VND/person if you don't mind being the only white people there.

Really nice stay
This place is located at the corner of city centre which makes it very quiet when you sleep. Best choice if you are planning to stay in da lat definitely will stay here again :) Only 10 mins to city centre, very walkable and staff are really friendly. Helped me book the tour and taxi to airport shuttle bus pickup point without any extra charge. They are willing to help you with anything you ask, really nice couple.

Landlords are great
The new section of this hotel, where we had a room is only 2 years old, and looks it. It is so nice and clean, lots of hot water , good mattresses, with a lift. The location is within walking distance of 2 of the major attractions in Dalat- the "Crazy House", and the old Emperors summer home. Was about half an hours walk to the night market, but we passed a French bakery shop, so didn't seem so far! The landlords guided us to one of the best suppers we had in Vietnam. $3.50 and we got all the ingredients to make our own fresh spring rolls, with green tea! They also told us of many sites to see, booked our bus out of town,and were kind and friendly. Their English was excellent. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice family hotel
We stayed here for only one night and it was great. The location it's a bit off the downtown but it's a nice walk (15 min) plus you get a good sleep since it's in very quiet neighborhood. Bed is comfortable. The family that runs this hotel is very nice and helpful. Help us to book a bus to Hoi An without any extra charge. We also book a day tour with them around Da Lat and I recommend it to everyone who wants to know more about Da Lat and don't have much time.

I stayed at this hotel for more than 30 days and the staff have always been friendly, speak and understand English very well. They share all the time required to make sure guests understand and have their questions answered. Room Pricing is very reasonable. As bonus the rooftop is a very quiet place to soak up some sun, meditate, read or spend time on the laptop. Book your next stay here, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Very clean hotel in quiet location
Lovely young family are helpful and very welcoming. We stayed 3 nights. Only a 10 minute walk to markets, it is located in a quiet lane. No food at the hotel but a shop 2 doors down for coffee sachets with coffee shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. The room was comfortable with good quality linen. The shower was probably the best we have had in Vietnam. Only down side is no tea making facilities in the room but this is common in Vietnam. There is an electric kettle but do ask for cups. I always carry the Nescafé 3 in 1 for this reason.

The hotel is a short walk from the central area of Dalat but there are a number of attractions nearby. There is also a bus stop just down the hill next to the roundabout. I stayed in the Superior double room which was large and nicely decorated, with great views from the large windows and balcony, it's definitely worth paying a little extra for this over the windowless rooms. The bed was also large and comfortable. The hotel was very clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dalat!

Wonderful staff make this a superb budget hotel
We stayed here for two nights and paid £8/ $11 a night for our ensuite room. The room is very simple and has a slight smell of cleaning products but you have to consider that this really is as cheap as it gets for hotels. The young couple running the hotel were both super friendly and my partner and I has great fun sitting on the roof terrace and playing the free pool table. Location is not quite in the centre but you can get there in a 10 minute walk which we really didn't find too bad. Worth bearing in mind that the cheapest rooms do not have a window so if that's a real no go this probably isn't the place for you. other than that, Dalat itself is not wildly exciting but I really can't complain about this superb budget hotel.

Quaint family hostel/hotel with amazing staff!
The staff are what made this hotel a great choice. I stayed here with two other traveling girls (we all had separate rooms; 2 privates, 1 in the dorm) and we LOVED the family who runs this! I arrived late (1AM) and he even asked me if I had had dinner yet and if I needed something to eat. They went above & beyond every day with recommendations, directions, motorbike rentals, etc. Just cant get over how nice they were :) The private room was basic and nice: hot water, WiFi, & really comfy pillows. I will have to say our friend's dorm room (who she had all to herself 2 nights in a row) was probably the nicest, newest, CLEANEST dorm i've seen in all of SE Asia. It can get a bit loud sometimes as the noise carries through the walls/floors, but they were so nice it was worth it. Its a little neighborhood about 20 min walk from "town". But a nice, quick walk through beautiful Da Lat, easily did it twice each day. Thanks so much!!

Simply the best
Wife and I stayed here two nights. Great accommodation. Simply the best staff we have dealt with during our 5.5 week trip in south east Asia. Good price for what you get. We had a midnight overnight bus they booked for us and allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel after checking out and canyoning that day. We showered and hung out after dinner without paying extra or having to leave. Simply the loveliest couple who run this hotel. I would stay again for sure.
